  1. Awesome, thanks! Yeah, think I was just looking for some drills to supplement the work I'm doing with my instructor.
  2. Any suggestions/feedback on my latest video/swing? Doing more of a 3/4 swing until I get things down a little better.
  3. UPDATE/PROGRESS: I've been Playing Golf for: 1.5 yearsMy current handicap index or average score is: 34.9My typical ball flight is: SliceThe shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Not making good contact, hitting it fat or topping Changes: Really worked on fixing the follow-through to let my arms fold, still having to focus on keeping wrist straight for inside-out swing (vs extended)
  4. Working on a few things: Trying not to move my head up and down like @Sclaffer mentioned. I do this more with the hybrid. Helps if I bend at my hips a little more when setting up to start, otherwise I have a tendency to come down as I swing--especially if I try hitting it really hard. Turning my head and looking up a little earlier to sync up better with my rotation Swinging more inside out (more between 1st and 2nd base) while turning wrist to get that "X", and trying to lead with toe Trying not to hit it too hard
  5. Thank you! Two of the videos are from my instructor so I can't get the original video to put on Youtube. One of them was from my phone so I'm putting it here. I couldn't figure out how to edit my original post to fix it there...
  6. I've been Playing Golf for: 10 months My current handicap index or average score is: 36.4 My typical ball flight is: Slice The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Inconsistently striking the ball (goes 25 yards) and MAJOR slice when I do get some distance (specifically with driver) Videos: I'll get some better videos soon, but here's what I currently have Finish swing Video on Hudl Technique Play this Golf video with Jim Perez Finish swing Video on Hudl Technique Play this Golf video with Jim Perez Driver Video on Hudl Technique Play this Golf video with sukhjeet batth Thanks!
  7. Started playing very sporadically a little under a year ago... got a CC membership less than 6 months ago. Played 18 once every couple weeks and wasn't making progress... shooting 120s. Handicap had been at 36 for a while. Took a couple group lessons at beginning that didn't help all that much. Then took few private lessons from a highly recommended coach and made a huge help: first lesson was sort of general stuff, second lesson chipping and pitching, third lesson more time on driver and a little practice on hybrid. Also been trying to hit the range every 1-2 weeks for about an hour. Have a 1-year-old at home so not a lot of free time. THEN FINALLY, this past Saturday had a "double bogey" back 9 (+16). And yesterday, shot a 106... BROKE 110 FOR THE FIRST TIME! And that was with still messing up my driver pretty bad on at least 3-4 holes. I feel like I can see the path to breaking a 100! Biggest change was being able to better hit my 6-iron and driver. My 7-8-9 and wedges are pretty good. Putting isn't bad either.. Still too afraid to pull out my 4H and 5H on the course... I mis-hit my hybrids fat A LOT because my head drops down. Any pointers on how to hit hybrids better? I have an Odyssey two-ball fang putter with a regular grip... but I really want to get one of those SuperStroke grips. Any tips on which ones to look into? I guess I might just have to try them out. I know this is a rambling post, but I was just so pumped about finally breaking 110!
