  1. Ok guys don't beat me up, but I went to Dicks and talked to the "pro" guy there and for my level of play he felt good about me getting a complete set of the Maxfli Black Max set's. He said that they were great all around clubs and the shafts were made by a good company. He also said that Taylor Made makes them. So I got that set. I am going to add a nice putter and maybe a few nicer clubs as I progress. Thanks for your help. I feel as though I am too wet behind the ears to try and find used clubs that are of good value and condition. In other words I would know what a good club was if someone hit me in the face with it. I will take some time and learn here. :D

  3. First off this seems to be a wonderful community and I am happy to be a part of it. Kudos to you all! Ok here it goes. I am 33 and I have played golf for about 10 years, but the catch is I have only played about 2 rounds a year! LOL! Recently I have began to play a lot more and for some reason as my game improves, my love for the game improves! Imagine that! Lately all I can think about is getting on the course. That being said I have always used a Wal-Mart brand of clubs since I didnt play often ad didnt care much. Since I am still new to the game, but want to play more, I would like a better set of clubs. I am looking to get started in the $400-500 range. I know that will not begin to touch some of the elite clubs, but I need a suggestion on a set for that price range. Can you help me please? :) THANK YOU!
  4. Got to go with Tiger.
