  1. Yeah, I kinda felt that way too after I was done, but i shot them at home and I'm at work now, so it's the best I got. Thanks for the comments. I might try again. I couple of people at work like the MP-60 one, but i think I agree with you.
  2. Tried this in the grill room and nobody responded. Been looking for nice wallpaper images of my clubs and cant find anything. I shot these this morning and would love a little feedback. Feel free to take them and use them if you want or post any of your own. Just thought this would make a nice thread to keep around. Hope this doesn't offend anyone.
  3. Took the Vokey's our for their first spin, an 82 at Bear Slide in Indiana. Pretty good for me. Stuck it 5 feet for birdie first shot with the 56
  4. Marketing and money to make it simple. I believe even Tiger used Mizunos in college before Nike got ahold of him. From my experience, its a love them or hate them thing, and I personally love them. If you are a Mizuno fan, you probably will be for life. They just have a special feel Most the posts have great points, but I think the most relevant one is that Mizunos, until recently, have really been aimed at the better golfer.
  5. Yeah, I'm doin the same thing, it's on masters.org, but you can also find it on espn.com
  6. Thats too bad. Don't give up on them. I hit the three pretty well, and mine are two degrees strong too. Played again yesterday with the MP60s (10th round). Im still as happy as ever. The feedback has easily made my game improve a shot or two. Now, if I could only capitalize with my putter.... Best of luck, keep us up to date on how you're doing.
  7. yeah, i know, i saved for an entire year...trust me, I don't see $700 very often, and probably shouldn't have spent it on a driver....but I did get two boxes of ProV1s thrown in for good measure....too bad I have already lost them all this summer. It was really weird because I got the money from a family member who passed away. I wasn't sure what to do with it. So, I bought a driver and named it after her....(Dottie). I hit it real well, for me, and hoping she keeps me in the fairway. BTW Dirk, you must have gotten some kick butt deals for your sticks with whats in your bag....can you teach me how. I did get a steal on my MP-60 ($350 been used twice), but I admit I took it on the chin for the driver....but man I LOVE THAT SHAFT, so easy to hit accurate.
  8. I wish I could see the show, I am too cheap(and poor) to buy the directtv package I need to see it. denny hepler (the guy from warsaw, IN) is my former teacher, and I caddied for him during the practice rounds at the US Open. I am wishing him all the best of luck. Kind of a goofball, but is a genuine nice guy who would do anything for you.
  9. Mine would be the FT-3 Fusion with a Mitsubishi Diamana Shaft - $700
  10. I personally like the MP-T series, but I just use the 51*. Not much bounce, but love it from about 110 and in on a full swing, feels very solid to me. My Clevelands seem to heavy on a full swing. Great deal BTW, congrats, you are going to love those irons...i do!!!!
  11. No, not yet, but i am also very curious what people think. I don't think i'll see any around here until october. the local course said he has them available to him, but not sure if it is worth bringing into the shop until the spring. I, obviously, was very disappointed.
  12. Not much to say live in southern Indiana. I'm a photography editor for a small newspaper. I have played for for 15 years, but seriously for about 5. I play StoneCrest in the Bloomington/Bedford area mostly, but play at Bear Slide in Cicero as much as possible....my family lives in the area. Great forum here. Excited to join.

  14. Ah, I think somebody finally nailed it on the head. It has nothing to do with her play, it really doesn't, IMO. As long as she is tall, thin, and attractive, and physically able to swing a club, she will get exemptions....for now. But as we all know, there will be another come around right after her who is 15 or 16 and can "outdrive" the men. Everyone knows she is not ready for the PGA, she(or her family) is just trying to capitalize as much as possible (unfortunately, isn't that the American way now?), and men who could never get a woman half as attractive love to watch her fail, so their egos will grow a millimeter and their sexist, moronic jokes will still be relevant. But the truth is, she is one laughing....all the way to the bank. IMO, its all a sad commentary on the state of America and our facination for building someone up just so they have faller to fall when we knock them down. If her goal is truely to play on the PGA and on the Ryder Cup, she should "go home" as has been said and develop her game. My guess: she (and her family) realize this probably will never happen on some level and figure they better grab as much money from us as quickly as possible before the hype dies (probably in another 12-18 months), and then head to the LPGA and probably do very, very well.
  15. I play four wedges MP-60 PW 47* MP-T GP 51* CG-10 56* CG-10 60* 10-15 yards distance change for each club.
  16. I play as a single 70% of the time and on a public course. I guess I am very lucky as almost all the time the "slower" group in front of me offers to let me play through. And when they do not, and I have asked, they have always been considerate enough to let me play through. But in my opinion, you absolutely have the right to ask to play through assuming there are open holes in front of the group. To me, it is not a question of etiquette, just common sense. And Everardo, I totally agree, that is VERY annoying. To see an empty hole in front of a group and be told "no" is one of the worst experiences in golf (besides snowmen )
