  1. Fewer clubs are better for beginners...its important to gain some confidence with certain clubs in the bag that become your money club... even if your a 100+ handicap player.... in time more clubs become that solid... Most people can get close to the Green in 2 or 3 yet many can't Chip close enough to make putting less stressful. Getting Up & Down is key to scoring in Golf... A great Tee shot means little with a terrible approach shot... Tiger is terrible at hitting Fairways, but he can close a hole better than most... often times from the rough...
  2. Have a repeatable routine when approaching each shot, if your a guy who takes 1 or 2 practice swings before the shot then make it feel right and visualize... many times if you can see your shot that mental confidance will more times than not, produce better results over time... Does this creep into your game or is it there from the first shot?
  3. This is simple, Not Everyone wants to Play Golf... Now could every Golfing amateur make the Pro Cut... this requires determination and lots of mental control... short answer... No just like Charles Barkley's golf swing hitch... If he can't overcome with probably the Best Swing coach in the Game, then nothing can help him and he used to be a 7 handicap... If passion to be great is added to practice that's coached, I believe some can make great things happen... There are those who have Zero business swinging a Golf club... let alone Hitting a ball in front of Hundreds of people...
  4. Tin Cup is awesome, and Always gonna go for it... If its in my reach i'll let her Fly...
  5. So, with the better scoring showing up for a few games, what can you say that has gotten better for your game, where are you striking better or actually hitting what your visualizing? Is your putting better, or are you hitting better chips giving your whole game a better putt count? ---> There are a few things that I notice in my game 1st > How many of the greens am I reaching with a shot at Birdie? 2nd > At the end of my round, am I putting more or less than 36 puts? 3rd >How good was my chipping 4th > Finally did I drive in the Fairway and How did I strike my drives? I'm around where you were and sometimes I really don't get upset about a shot if I knew I struck that ball well, direction can be fixed if i'm striking the ball well and hitting it where I was setup for (actually aimed wrong) Happens alot with my game... Its those great shots every couple holes that keep me coming back...
