  1. Day 13 - Practiced pitch shots in the yard today. Playing 18 tomorrow.
  2. Day 12 - Went to the range and practice green today at NKGC. Small bucket on the range followed by putting and chipping on the practice green. Not surprisingly for this time of year, putting distance control needs work.
  3. Day 11 - More pitches and chips with my 54* wedge today.
  4. Day 10 - Practiced pitch and chip and run shots with my 54* wedge in the yard today. Also did some putting on my PuttOUT matt, but looking forward to practicing on a real green next week.
  5. Day 9 - Putting practice: one handed putts, 10 left only then 10 right only, devil ball putts finally 2-handed putts through a gate. I'm working on fixing a pull putts which I have recently developed.
  6. Day 8 - Practiced pitch shots with my 60* wedge, followed by the "3-tee" drill with my driver. Regarding the later, trying to focus on hitting the first (which I frequently miss) and second (long) tee while completely missing the third due to positive AoA.
  7. Day 7 - More putting and chipping practice indoors today.
  8. Day 6 - Putting: warmed up with the Devil ball, followed by mirror with putter head tracks; 3' to 5' putts.
  9. Day 4 - Did slow swings with weighted club, followed by some putting practice. In the future I should remember to do the putting first.
  10. Day 3 - Turning into a busier day than expected. Hit more short pitches with my 50* wedge and practiced low point control with my 27* hybrid. I'll be A/B ing the hybrid with my 11W next week, looking to determine if I can get a bit more carry, with sufficient stopping power to hold greens.
  11. Day 2 - Practiced short pitch shots with my 50* wedge and low point control with my 7i today.
  12. Day 1 - Missing yesterday made 3x in the last 28 days so starting over. Inside: Putting drills with the mirror and putter head gates set with 1/4" on either side of the putter head. Outside: Adam Young's "3-tee" drill
  13. Many years ago at West Warwick CC, I was teeing off on the 4th hole (a 375 yard uphill par 4) and skulled the ball which hit one of the red tee markers, ricocheting behind the tee box. Needless to say, my playing partners were in hysterics, but no injuries (other than to my pride 😬).
  14. Day 71 - 7-iron: hit a few chips to warm up then practiced full swings (no ball) checking club positions.
  15. Day 70 - Chipping practice with my 56* wedge today. After hitting some warmup chips, I chipped about 10 balls, picking a landing spot then going through my entire pre-shot routine with each one. The whole process took about 15-20 minutes.
  16. Day 69 - Putting practice today, going thru full pre-putt routine for each putt.
  17. Day 68 - Worked on hitting up with the driver today by doing Adam Young's "3-tee" drill, about 20 minutes.
  18. Day 67 - Putting practice today, mainly worked on getting a pre-putt routine down which keeps me moving and minimizes my tendency to second guess myself when I'm over the ball ready to putt.
  19. Day 66 - Snow on the ground; practiced chip and run shots and did some putting practice.
  20. Day 65 - Practiced chip and run and short pitches with my 56* wedge and an AlmostGOLF ball inside today.
  21. Day 64 - Putting practice: mirror with gates to check setup and then swing putter head between gates, putt through a gate set 3' in front of ball, aiming practice. Finished with slow motion swings with a weighted club.
  22. Day 63 - Snowing out today, so indoor practice. Worked on chip and run shots with my 8i and SW (using an AlmostGOLF ball) today for about 20 minutes.
  23. Day 62 - Slow motion swings with a weighted club in front of a mirror followed by a few minutes of putting practice.
  24. Day 61 - Trackman session today; focused on wedges and short irons.
