Only posting because I'm also in mid Michigan. Can we get rid of the effing snow sheesh.

Ben post the 8 minutes of vid. Be like golf porn for most of us. Swing is just beautiful. Watching the ball launch off the club face is amazing.

I read in "Paper Tiger" that Tom Coyne had difficulties with his takeaway as well and to fix it Dr. Suttie put down a golf ball right behind his club at address. If he could push the ball straight back then he knew his club was on the proper plane and his hands were inside while the club outside.

Nike Pro Combo Forged 3-PW 1" 2* Upright (Read Description)
MSUGolfer replied to MSUGolfer's topic in Marketplace
Pictures added.. Tried to get a close up view of all the faces. Couple things the 3 iron still has an old Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip on it. The new grips are all WinnXi7. Listening to all reasonable offers. Very reasonable. You can also check out my eBay name: msufanatic11- 100% positive feedback. -
Hey guys, So up for sale are Nike Pro Combo Forged irons. I'd rate most of these clubs as about 7.5-8/10. These clubs definitely have been used, but they are in good condition for the clubs. Definitely good for a beginner or someone just wanting to hit forged irons. The 7 iron in this set is broken (near the hosel).. I can get it fixed for you if you want, but it'll increase the price and I know it can be fixed. Otherwise I'll just send it with the club head. The PW has just been reshafted Dynamic Gold S300. The irons have new Win X17 grips just installed last season. I'm looking really for 100-150 bucks.. Or best offer. Also might be interested in trades for 52,56 or 60 degree wedge pref. Vokey or Victory Red. I'm going to post pictures of the clubs and faces when I get home. These are good clubs looking for a good home and would like to give it to a fellow Sand Trapper. Paypal only please. Thanks guys!

Fianlly was able to rectify the situation and they are shipping them out.

Been having the same issue, apparently my credit card number was entered incorrectly so it was declined and I have not been able to get in contact with them with 3+ emails and countless number of times to contact them by phone over the past two weeks. I love the product, but this customer service is shitty as hell.

Last night after work I decided to go to the range to work on ingraining some in-out swing path thoughts. Most days I start off with my PW work up through Driver going through every even numbered iron. After the driver, I usually go back to a 6 or 7 iron and really focus on good contact. Then I usually spend the last 20-25 balls hitting all my wedges. Last night the range session went pretty darn well considering how bad I was hitting yesterday. I was hitting most balls with great draws on them, sometimes overcooking the draw the a little too much. The feeling of dropping my arms into the slot and getting stuck were my main focus. My main swing thought was as I rotate my hips on the backswing imagine a rod poking out my right hip. A completed backswing as the rod parallel to your target line in the opposite direction. Then my very first move was pushing my right hip inwards (left hip outwards) towards the target line, letting my arms fall into place and then finally hitting down and through the ball with my hips. Obviously, I duffed a few shots, but overall I felt confident. The biggest difficulty I'm having is still rushing my to complete my backswing and then not letting it complete. When that happens- I'm all an arms swinger and come way over the top resulting in awful results. I really want to continue to focus on driving in to out with my legs because I know that hip slide is going to be the key for consistency.

Hey guys, So a little bit about myself to first start a few things off. I have always been very competitive. I've played sports all throughout my life. In High School, it was basketball, football, baseball, little soccer, and even volleyball. I never got to reach a pinnacle at any of these sports. When I went off to college at Michigan State University, I was always trying to quench a thirst for competitive sports. I was actually a scout team player for both the Women's and Men's basketball programs here at MSU for my first two years. That was a fantastic opportunity, but the lack of an ultimate goal and lack of really pushing towards anything drove me crazy. My schedule kept me from playing on the scout team for the last two years of my undergraduate collegiate days. Being a Biochemistry / Molecular Biology major - the lab times were extreme and prevented me from partaking in the scout team. I kept trying to find something that would let me have goals, push towards something I could never perfect. Last summer, my best friend offered me to take me golfing. Boy, was that a mistake. I fell in love with the game. I was immediately hooked and absolutely obsessed with playing. I scoured books, notes, videos. I watched the Golf Channel relentlessly and watched every major from start to finish. I loved the game. I would ride my bike nearly 8 miles to go to the driving range only because I didn't have a car to get me there. That's right, 8 mile bike ride with golf clubs on my back. I found the game to be incredible. I played as much as I could, I practiced even more. I was able to shoot mid 90s right away even with all my swing faults. My game would come and go, but that's what happens when your swing is all timing. Being a tall guy ~ 6'5" and athletic I seemed to pick up the game quickly. So let's fast forward to this Spring and Summer. After a Winter in which the only useful golf technique I learned was sand wedge juggling (which I'm a pro at now with nearly every iron), I was determined to take this game head on. Determined to get down to a single HCP, become a great ballstriker. Well the Spring and beginning of Summer came and went and I was stuck. I was stuck in the 90s, stuck hitting some terrible shots, stuck with fats and thins, stuck with OB rights and OB lefts. Enough was enough and I went to go get lessons. I felt like lessons would be the only way to help me, help myself. That what I was feeling was not what I needed to be doing and boy was I right. The very first lesson I was placed on camera and after getting over how ugly I am, I saw so many bad things. Way too inside coming up, backswing that looked like I was going after a long drive competition with a 6iron, no rotation in my body and a downswing that would shatter any pane of Ben Hogan's glass. Wow, was this going to be difficult to fix and it has been. I've decided that a blog dedicated to my journey here on this website will help me track my progression. Help me track the feelings in my swing I need to remember. Help me take mental notes in what I am doing. I hope that anyone that reads this enjoys because it's going to be quite a Golf Journey. My path has been so incredibly steep all my golfing life. This leads me to lash at the ball taking massive divots usually resulting in either a beautiful shot or an ugly fat. Not very consistent. My swing coach has to get me on a shallower plane before I can move onto other things in the golf swing and that is not going to be easy. Boy was I duffing the shit out of balls yesterday trying all the whacked up positions he was trying to get me into. After the lesson, I spent a lot of time on the range and I was really focused on sliding my hips forward and getting my right arm to "drop into the slot" before rotating the hips and getting after the ball. Everytime I got the sensation of this I produced a very lengthy nice draw. It was a beautiful sight. Now I just have to get this into my muscle memory. My path was so steep to begin with that I basically need to force myself to feel stuck every time to get used to this connection so to speak with my arms and body. Along with that I've found out that I really need to let myself complete my backswing before uncoiling to the downswing. I found every time I didn't let myself complete a full turn with a "slight pause" at the top before I uncoiled that my arms flew out in front of me and I became disconnected and produced a nasty slice. I know the improvement looked like shit on the range yesterday, but the feelings I have now are some very distinct. I think golf is one of those things that if you don't know which feeling produces which shot then you can't fix it. I'm not starting to get the feelings and placing them into the back of my mind after I hit a shot. I know exactly where my ball is going before I even look up for the ball based on the swing and that is enough of improvement for me thus far. I suppose after work I'll head over to the range and work on a few things and update later on. Thanks for reading guys, much appreciated.

Idea seems solid- but for 200 bones whew! Just put a few beat up gloves under my arms to keep me connected ;).

Different shaft needed? usually shaft stiffness / type is the biggest reason for ballooning ball flight. Along with a possible swing flaw, but without video as Keiran suggested we wouldn't be able to say which.

Scotty Cameron California Series
MSUGolfer replied to MSUGolfer's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Thank you, was looking for exactly this type of information. Appreciate that. -
I've been interested in picking up a Sonoma or Monterrey of this series and I have seen on eBay what looks to be California series that are not honey dipped in nature. Did Cameron put out a line without the honey dipping? Been doing some searching on the internet, but can find anything that states this. Anyone here know? Such as this auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/Titleist-Scotty-...?pt=Golf_Clubs

PW broke last week. One of the most wild things I've seen. It broke right by the hosel.
