  1. 1. My Cleveland Niblick 49* unless I'm in some weird grass that is laying in the direction opposite of where I'm hitting. In that case, I'd use a 5i. Against the grain of the rough grass is my least favorite shot on the course. 2. It all depends on the lie and where the pin is. Usually any of my wedges...
  2. What's funny is that the day you shoot even or better, it'll be like -4 or -5...you'll crush it. I remember bowling a 199 about 3 or 4 times and never broke 200...then I go out and get a 235 to destroy it. So hang in there, and enjoy the hell out of the breakthrough round. It'll be epic.
  3. Yeah, the 100 bucks for the Bettinardi line is fantastic...I basically had narrowed it down to the BC7 or the Rife Bimini...I ended up going with the Rife and then exchanging the Rife Bimini for the Abaco because I wasn't digging the 8802 putter style. The Bettinardi line is fantastic though...I just preferred the feel of the Rife Island Line slightly more.
  4. And myself. :) Played a little par three course on Sunday and shot 5 over, which is pretty good for me. Chipping and putting went very well when I missed the greens in regulation...so I can't complain yet. The e6 seems to be pretty good, but won't really know till I hit the regular course this weekend. So far so good.
  5. I'm down with the Hammer. I want a lefty one so I can practice my left handed recoveries in the trees!
  6. Went and hit both the MX700 and the Burner 09 and ultimately went with the Burner. There just was something weird about the MX that I can't put my finger on. It was almost too muted when it came to feel compared to the Burner. I'm a TM guy anyway, so it could be a mental bias, but I was definitely hitting a little further with the Burner as well. The MX was nice, don't get me wrong, but all things being equal (price), the Burner seemed like a better fit for me. And ET---maybe TitleistWI had titleist clubs previously...you can't change your username every time you get a new set of clubs, can you? :)
  7. I'm definitely interested in one of these. Having used an R5 for the past 5+ years, I'm looking for an upgrade. It's between the MX700 and the Burner 2009 at this point. Gotta hit em both I suppose.
