haha thats exactly what i was thinking thanks :) Im good at toning down my wedges for the comments regarding yardage gaps in wedges. I can take a PW and tone down if i really need to and i know how to hit certain yardages, so 3 wedges would be pretty good for me, and with the hybrid i can be better off hitting longer par 3s, i want to keep the 3 iron because i can hit it solid and straight, just not push it an extra 10 yards. Im pretty sure im gonna get the 909h 3 hybrid maybe 2 hybrid idk and change my wedge set up a little bit, i just need the money lol

If im practicing i will tee it up as far back as possible on every hole, so when i am playing with someone else in a tournament or for fun i let them pick the tees, and no matter what its easier for me because ive already played the holes as hard as they can be

I've only been playing for 2 years but if i obsess enough this summer i can definitely do it. 1. Get to scratch 2. Win a golf tournament 3. Shoot under par for an 18-hole round 4. Make eagle (should be soon ) 5. Hole-in-one (This one should be the hardest lol)

If you check my signature you'll notice i have four wedges, 3-9 iron 3 wood and driver. I have trouble hitting longer par 3s i can push out a 3 iron but sometimes screw up, slow down with the 3 wood but it throws off my tempo a little bit. I want a way to fit a hybrid in there but i need to know what to get rid of to put it in there. I was thinking replacing my 52 56 and 60 with a 54 and 58 wedge and get a 3 iron hybrid? but idk thanks in advance guys

Because basically all of my golf right now takes place in high school matches, i get some lessons on the weekends at an indoor golf facility but pretty much everything is a match for me right now lol. And for ControlJunkies post, putting has a lot to do with confidence for me, and i feel confident with my scotty. I feel like i should make every putt stepping up to the ball with my scotty, but with the length and weights and shaft style i guess it just doesnt work together lol, my zing i have a better stroke with the proper weighting and shaft style length etc. but im less confident, that laguna 1.5 has the best of both worlds

I had a recent post about deciding on my scotty cameron or a 20 year old ping zing to play with in my matches, and i decided on the zing for now, but i dont really want that old of a club, i know its a putter and its not like you need to replace them and if it goes in who cares but if i could find a newer putter with similar feel to it then that would be great, doesnt necessarily have to be a ping either any brand putter. Its a 34" ping zing with a clear insert on the face that says PING in it. Thanks in advance guys I was looking around online, and i found the scotty cameron laguna 1.5 putter, EXACTLY what i wanted, same shaft style same head shape everything, is it a limited edition putter tho because when i checked on ebay some were going for a few thousand. I want to be able to demo it before i buy it but ive never seen it before anywhere lol

Yeah i see what you guys are saying about the SQ tour carry, but i just recently found the new titleist 14 club stand bag, and that looks awesome idk if anyone has tried or seen it but it looks very nice

I have a scotty cameron newport 2.6 35" and i regret getting the midshaft ever since i got it. i put decently with it but not as well as i should. if i could improve my putting id be close to scratch. I have all titleist equipment, and im kind of OCD about that where i want everything to be the same brand, but i have a very old ping zing in my bedroom that i put with when im bored on the putting green about 8' long. I can make like 30+ in a row with it and have never thought to bring it out on the course but i brought it out today for golf practice and putted much better, and felt better stepping up to putts and on distance control. Its a little shorter and has one of those short little attachments to the clubhead that connect to the shaft, not a plumber neck but im not sure what its called, maybe a flange but that could be completely wrong. Should i stick with the zing? and should i sell my scotty? because i feel weird using a very old putter and would like to maybe try out a newer zing or redwood and see how it feels. thanks in advance

Yea thats where i think my main problem is, i take it back slow and too long, i dont decelerate its just my whole tempo is slow. Especially shorter putts i shouldnt take it back as far. Thanks a lot :)

I have a 9 finger grip with my thumbs pointing dow, pinky overlapped by my left pointer finger. But i was wondering how tight you hold the putter. I have been holding it at about id say 5 out of 10 tightness, but i tried putting with like a 2 out of 10 and used more shoulders and i was hitting more putts on line, but it was more difficult for me to hit the proper distance because i took it back slower because it was awkward for me. Just wondering about different techniques that i might try to improve my putting.

I bought a pair of Footjoy Reelfits, the ones with the boa system on the back. When i walk 18 with them i get blisters on my heels, and it sucks lol. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? Thanks

Currently i converted my dads sun mountain cart bag with some old callaway carry bag and put the strap from that on the sun mountain because the sun mountain has the putter well and the 14 slots. But the strap that i've put on it doesn't match, the bag is grey and red while the strap is black and orange and it has the callaway symbol on it, i kind of have OCD about that kind of stuff so i want to buy the straps, and i know this should go in the marketplace but i havent had my account long enough to post there. Also the strap i put on doesnt exactly work, i put the center piece on the handle of the bag, it doesnt have a little ring for me to clip it on to in between the top and bottom rings. If anyone could direct me to a website that sells this or has one it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks guys, i dont have the money right now tho so i converted my dads old sun mountain cart bag and put a dual strap on it, is there anywhere i could buy a sun mountain dual strap so it doesnt look weird having a different brand and color strap than the actual bag? thanks lol

A perfect example i found online would be the Sun Mountain MPB Stand Bag, its just it seems like it is sold out on every website i find it on, and im not sure if i like the color selection, because i do like a cool looking golf bag too lol

Preferably Nike, but I would like a good stand/carry bag, with 14 club slots in the bag if possible with a putter well and dual strap carry system. I need something like this for the tournament season coming up, but the bag i have currently only has a one shoulder strap and 6 slots for clubs, so my putter cover on my scotty got ruined. So putter well is more important than the multiple slots, but if it has both then even better. Thanks in advance

I own the AP2 and honestly, they're one of the nicest irons i've ever hit. When you hit it solid it comes out so pure, you barely even feel it. The Mizuno's are nice but when I step up to the ball i'm a very aesthetic player, i tend to play better when my clubs look good, and i like the appearance of the AP2s much more, but thats just me.
