I play a premium ball (b330rx) strictly for the greenside play. I need all the help I can get so why not play a premium ball? And oh yea....I can hit them farther than my old 2 piece ball. e7+.

I just started playing golf 3 years ago. I made changes constantly during the first 2.5 years. I was getting way to mechanical thinking that it would help my game. I was shooting 90's then. Within the past year, I have gone to pure feel and changed things based on that. Now the only thing that tends to change is my ball position. I have dropped my scores to high 70's to low 80's just doing this. I stopped trying to copy the players on tv with my swing and left it to feel. It has really helped.

I have actually 2 rounds before. I left after 9 holes both times when I was supposed to play 18. Those were two very bad days.

Hey there. I was in Vegas late last year for my wedding and got the chance to play The Badlands. I was around $50 per person for 18 if I remember correctly. Course was awesome. Very well maintained. The reason I carry a 3 and 4 hybrid instead of irons is because, for me, they are way easier to hit the ball out of the rough with, and they get the ball up a little quicker.

I tried to get my wife to do it for me....How do you think that went?

Shot 79 and my home course. 130 slope. 74 rating. I beat my low there by one stroke.

I played a 9 hole course twice over the weekend. Par 3, 160 yards, 6 iron. Tee shot went into right greenside bunker. Left me with very little green to work with because pin was 3 paces off right edge. I hit a soft shot out to 3 feet and the putt for par. I came back to the hole a few hours later and played it again. Pulled my 6 iron from the bag and put the ball in the same trap, 2 feet from where my first tee shot landed earlier in the day. Took out my 56 again and hit a great sand shot again to 2 feet. Tap in for par. Those are my best shots of the week.
