Yeah as far as that region is concerned I would check out the http://www.fairwaygolftour.com/newdesign/ know 1 guy who played in that and had a good experience. They pay out more. I sure wish I lived in an area that had a tour like that. Otherwise I will settle for GolfChannels AM Tour

depends on where you live and what type of tour you are looking into tours like the adams tour and egolf tour and hooters tour are minor league level tours along with Gateway Tour... then you have succesful state tours like the Pepsi Golf tour which Ben Tateel (sandtrap member) plays on. If you look at mini tour play under the tour forum , search mini tour. you will find on one of the first pages a link that Ben posted to a site with links to every mini golf tour. Also it helps look at Amateur and Pro Tours. Some large country based amateur tours still pay out an amount of money and as long as they stay under 750 prize money amateur status remains good

correct me if im wrong and very well might be. But i thought he rarely played in the pebble feb pro am which this year is his old sponsor AT & T... I would like to see tiger play a tournament at a location he rarely ever goes. Like St Jude or John Deere classic just to see how he plays on a course he doesnt play all the time.

So i like their Z TP wedge but they are no longer making it. I thought the changable face wedge was cool but a gimmick. If you look at all website stores they are no longer stocking any TM wedges. Also TM's website doesnt even have a good wedge selection in their shop. They have RH 56* change face wedges. I feel like they know they made a mistake with their change face wedges and are working on something new... I wouldnt think a company like TM just wouldnt make wedges. Anyone know if they have something up their sleeve

Hit the r11 again last night and ordered my r11 today and cant wait to put it in play. like you todd a white grip will be going on in within minutes. It feels good and the rep I know lowered my price to 200 so I couldnt pass it up

i went last night to my local GG. The rule was you had to demo the driver with intent to buy it to receive gift card. After Demo'ing the driver you are given the gift card. I was 8th in line at my store and arrived at 11pm. I was going to buy the driver if I got good value on trade (didnt get good value) so passed. My buddy is good friends with the TM rep and the rep is giving me one for 200. Nonetheless the GG only sold 2 r11 drivers but sold two r11 bags and 2 Burner superfasts the kids they had running the demo were turds but as far as the driver goes loved the way it felt and am excited mine is on the way. Also happy i got the 50 bucks. Joke of the night... the guy who was 1st in line brought his wife who doesnt really play golf... She swung the club with "intent to buy" got the Gift card gave it to her husband and they left. To each their own and they waited for 3 hours so i dont have a problem with it.

Its a long hill with a large tree in the middle of the fairway. not pictured. Was about 165 out here and the right side of the green drops off like a cliff

I demo'd the R11 at the St. Louis Golf Expo over Jan 21st weekend. I got lucky they had all the new clubs up for demo even though they dont hit the shelves until next month. It is a lot more quiet than the 460 on the indoor range/monitor. It felt really good which makes me kinda upset. I was hoping that it wouldnt impress me so my decision would be easier. Now it will be hard. To the other replies I thank you for the responses. I know as I was in retail TM loves to have a lot of models come out / sometimes even twice a year so not only the value decreases dramatically so do the previous year clubs. Im surprised the Aldila the club comes with sucks that bad and shocked that its really that much louder than some other golf models out there, specifically Nike and Ping. BTW never have hit burner woods well, the elongated back of the head messes me up mentally in the head

I have a decision coming up next month... I have a 5 year old driver and will be upgrading. Obviously reviews are out on the r11 however I know people have hit the r9 460 drivers. I have demo'd both drivers and of course I like both of them. I feel like the 460 will be good enough however I can get a deal on both so my decisions seems tough. Due to giftcards I can the r9 460 for 25 bucks and the r11 for 190... What would "the sand trap" do ? Also R9 users please leave your thoughts on your driver.
