  1. why do companies decide jus to discontinue som of the most quality clubs u'll ever get. i'm not sure if the v-steel is discontinued in the states but for most of canada it is well at least where i am, i was looking for the 13* tour spoon and u cant find that anhywhere. Its a shame that they made "T" stamp/681 irons a limited set because they are som pretty sharp looking blades. if u hav any other old school clubs u'd like to bring back we should find a way to make a list and send it to the companies because this weight technology is some real crap and they took it way too far. who puts weights in putters like seriously u don't hook or slice putts that severely that you need weights and weights in fairway woods i think it takes away the tru potential of a good fairway wood.
  2. those are all pretty good irons to buy, but if you are wanting to be able to work the ball any forged irons are the way to go. blades aren't always the best choice but any of the titleist irons are good and according to your needs i'd recommend the 755, 735, 695 or 690.
  3. you are still able to buy the 680's. i would recommend the titleist blades over the nike blades because when i hit my friend's set i was able to to do anything i wanted to with it. as for the nike i wouldn't really recommend them but i did find that they were slightly more forgiving than the 680's. but you should take a look at some mizuno blades, they are some of the best feeling blades you'll hit especially the classic mp-33 or the new mp-67
  4. Not at all, you really don't need a 2 degree difference between each wedge. Try and space it out like a 4 or 6 degree difference because not only will you get more value out of your wedges you'll have more space in your bag for other clubs that could be necessary for your game such as a 5 wood or hybrids. But then again this is my opinion
  5. If I were you I wouldn't bother with the nike sling shots because me and some other people and pro's I know have found them to be very chunky to hit and look at. If you're looking for game improvement irons regardless the price i would recommend the mx-900's or taylormade os' but if you want an inexpensive set I would recommend Tommy Armour or Mizuno mx-23
  6. One of the best they have come out with I think. Very versatile club, if you really love titleist I would recommend this club but watch out for a new one to be coming out called f3.
  7. I say go for it, I play a 2 iron or a hybrid. I personally love the 2 iron but depending on the course set up i'll switch to my hybrid, but if you hit your 3 iron well the chances of you hitting your 2 iron well is pretty good. Its all preference
