  1. Get a new used Driver
  2. I have 2 Clicgears, a 3.5 and an older model. They are durable
  3. Graphite will give you more speed and are less of a shock. Steel does not have the torque of graphite which is probably why pros use steel. Seniors and slower swing speed golfers should use graphite or at least try them.
  4. Between golfers and fishermen there will be always some willing to buy into any gimmick.
  5. I say start with a quality forgiving club according to the individual golfer and then try to fit a shaft to there swing. I have gone through 3 driver shafts before finding something that works best for me.
  6. Sorry billchao, I did not see that language. Just kept seeing men/women.
  7. The only way to find out is hit balls with the two different club lengths and see how they feel and where they fly. If they have a tendency to fly left or right the length probably is not right since the lie is incorrect.
  8. Everyone always looks at equipment and sometimes lessons which are both worthy factors in distance loss. Here is something every aging , soon to be Senior or just plain Senior golfer can do at very little cost. Strength and Flexibility. In other words, have an exercise program. As we get older, we lose muscle mass and tighten up. I work at this daily and have the flexibility of what I had 20 years ago. Maybe not the strength but try to keep as much as I can.
  9. I have said that there should be a golf etiquette course similar to what other outdoor sports have for safety courses. Receive certification and a card stating this and you get certain perks. I believe some European countries have this.
  10. How about people who do not consider themselves male or female? Not trying to be smart here.
  11. What do you normally hit for a 150 yard shot? If you do have a driver swing speed of 100 mph, you would need a stiff shaft most likely. Should see someone that has experience in club fitting to find a used set of clubs. Just grabbing clubs and swinging them without why could mess with you even more.
  12. I am liking Maxfli Tour X. Distance is good and ball spin on the greens works.
  13. Assuming this topic is too much golf according to your spouse, that would be different for everyone. If it interferes with your relationship then yes but for me, I could play 5 days per week without complaint.
