Hey me too! Well, I broke 45 at least. Shot a 43 in nine holes, which was +8. My previous best was a 45 and I've hit 91 several times when I play a full round. I really wish I had time to play 18 yesterday. I almost always play the back nine several strokes better than the front, and I really would have like to seen what I could have shot. I tripled the first hole, and the rest was pars and bogies, with a total of 16 putts.

A net won't give you any feedback in terms of ball flight, so you may be practicing some bad habits in that respect. Where I find the net useful is for working on specific little things. Like not hitting the ball fat or thin, or hitting the ball first then the ground, or not hitting the ball on the toe of the club (seems to be my current problem!). Granted even if I "fix" these problems on the net, I still don't have any idea where the ball is actually going. But in a way that can actually be a good thing because you will focus more on fixing that little problem with you swing and not be so facinated with where the ball goes. The net gives me a platform to work some of the kinks out, and I can then head to the range to sort of put it all together and work on the ball flight part.
