Welcome - what are some good places to play on the Northside?

Actually never played White Lick. I have a cart bag and isn't it true that you can't ride White Lick? Pittsboro kind of serves the same purpose for me, a cheap "cow pasture" where you can score low. How long are the Par 4's at White Lick?

Hopping in and hijacking your thread. I'm from Brownsburg, 10 miles West of Indy. Home course is Quail Creek in Pittsboro. Also play West Chase in Brownsburg, as well as Eagle Creek, Saddlebrook, and Riverside. Also like Trophy Club in Lebanon. My low-budget course is the community course in Pittsboro if I'm playing by myself or working on something specific in my game. Been addicted to this forum since I discovered it a couple weeks ago. Good advice on equipment and swing advice, etc. Although I'm undecided about how much I'll really post in the forums.

FWIW, make sure you want a "game improvement" iron if you buy the Burners. I thought I liked the high long flight of them, but after realizing I was trying to drop the ball in an area as opposed to a specific point, I traded mine in for some used Ping I10's, which I like 1000 times better.

Bought a set of used I10's. Never shot below 83. Shot a 76 my 2nd time out with them and broke 40 three times in four 9 hole rounds. If you're a mid-handicapper looking for an iron that gives you forgiveness yet still has a blade feel that will allow you to continue to improve, I highly suggest the Ping I-series (I-2, I3 blade, I5, I10, I15).
