  2. Though I am looking into used clubs and fitting I am still temporarily looking at a new set. A few I have found that look promising are the Nike NDS, Wilson Di5, Adams Idea, & Cleveland Launcher LP. I would apreciate any opinions on these clubs.
  3. I am new to golf and have been using some 20 year old hand me down clubs for the last few weeks. I have been seriously thinking about a new set of irons for my first purchase because I think it will make the most bang for my buck. However, I don't really know whats out there and I am on a limited budget as indicated by the title of this thread. So if anyone could give me some ideas and possibly why you picked that particular set would be a HUGE help. If you need any other info just ask.
  4. I am a beginner golfer from Jacksonville, Fl and I just wanted to say hay. I found this site a few weeks ago and thought I should join up so I could ask some of those annoying newbie questions everyone loves to answer repeatedly.
  5. I am new to golf but I suppose my home course is the cecil field golf complex in Jacksonville, Fl; http://www.capstonegolf.net I suppose I am biased since I live < 5min. away but with very WIDE fairways and nothing to worry about hitting next to the course but trees it is a great place for newbies like me.
  6. Florida is definately a great place to play year round but there is a big difference between north and south florida. Having lived in both extremes of the state I prefer N. florida due to the milder summers and cool winters despite how cold it can be during winter in the early morning by afternoon its nice in the high 60s to low 70s. South Florida though comfortable in winter is miserable during the summer no matter what time of day.
