  2. I definitely agree with you both. I actually just literally took the 64 out..it was helping...I am going to look for a 58-60 LW and a 51-53 GW. I am going to put the 3W in the bag and just practice and learn to hit it. When i am playing a par 5 and i am on my second shot 230-250 away i have no shot of reaching he green with my 3H. I have a 4H that i could put in the bag between the 3H and 5 iron. The only reason i haven't is because the 3H i have is a new Macgregor MHT that i LOVE....the 4H is the MaxFli Black Max that came with the set.
  3. So I am still in my first season of golf and am trying to get down my permanent clubs in my bag. These are the definites I have in my bag every time out: Driver: Macgregor M85T 9.5 Stiff Hybrid: Macgregor MHT 3H (19 degree) Irons: MaxFli Black Max 5-PW(47 degree), SW(56 degree) Wedge: LW(64 degree) Putter: MaxFli Black Max These are my questions. I have a MaxFli Black Max 3(15 degree) and 5(18 degree) wood and I only want to put one in the bag. Any suggestion on which one? Also, I really feel like I am missing a wedge in between my PW and SW. Often, I will not want to use my SW, so I chip it nicely with my PW right onto the front of the green and it rolls off. I feel like if I had a nice GW in between it would be perfect. If I added a GW that would be 4 wedges which I think is a bit much. I was going to maybe keep my PW(47), get a GW(53) and then a LW(59) so I have an even 6 degree between each and only use 3 wedges. Any thoughts/suggestions/comments?
  4. Hello everyone, New to the forum...Have read some great things so far so i think i am going to like it here. My name is John and i am from NJ. I am new to golf this season. Previous to this year i have never picked up a club. I definitely have the "golf bug" though. Every weekend since May 8th, i have played at least one round, some weekends 3. I go to the rangr 1-2 times a week and read every bit of golf tips i can. Any help in my quest to break 90 will be appreciated. Thanks guys! Oh also, maybe i am totally missing it, but how do i fill up my virtual golf bag with my clubs?

  7. This is my best shot of the week = best shot of my life. So i started playing golf only at the beginning of this season in May. Before then i hadnt even swung a club in my life. I have the "bug" big time. i have played every weekend since then. I am hooked. So, onto the shot. It was a downhill par 3 over water, 167 yards. I hit my tee shot and it landed just short of the water. My second shot was a PW into a trap directly next to the green. The green was elevated and the trap was on a slope on the side of the hole. So much so, that while I was in the trap addressing the ball i couldn't see the hole, just the top of the pin. My cousin was tending the pin and commented that it looked cool because he could only see my upper body from the steep angle. I swung at the ball with my SW, sand flew everywhere, the ball popped out and bounced, then rolled and dropped right in the hole for my first par. After that i was hooked
