  1. I think Crossfit is an amazing workout program. You can go to an affiliate gym or follow the workouts at home. They are intense and typically short workouts. plus it will develop your core muscles for golf like nothing else. Apart from that, I would recommend buying a rower. I use the Concept 2 rower and before i did use it I never thought rowing would be such a complete body workout. My view has since changed. 20 minutes on that at a good pace will burn calories and fatigue muscles.
  2. I have enjoyed playing my Cobra Baffler a lot. It really plays well off the tee and great when I am in the rough.
  3. I went Foxchase in Stevens, PA and I shot the round of my life. I finished with an 89 and it was my first time breaking 90. I am pretty stoked, since I have only been playing seriously for less than a year. Its amazing how many strokes you can save when you keep your drives in the fairway.
  4. Thanks for the responses. All the info is very helpful.
  5. I have been striking the ball better lately and I am noticing my ball flight is going more right to left and this made me think about aiming. On a draw or fade is the ball suppose to land in th same spot as if you hit the ball straight, but with a different flight path? I noticed that my ball is landing to the left of where I was aiming and I had to adjust where I was aiming.
  6. I shot a 100 at Turtle Creek in Limerick, PA. I am getting serious about golf after playing an average of 1 round every couple years. It was a frustrating round since I felt I had been making good progress and keeping my scores below 100. Getting off the tee box in a decent manner is my largest hurdle to lowering my scores.
  7. I think Jack gets the nod for now just on stats alone. However, I will agree with an earlier post that comparing them to each other before Tiger is done playing is premature.
  8. I am currently a stay at home dad, but was a sales representative before the economic down turn. I too am looking forward to learning from this site.
