I am looking at new putters now, and I really want a high-quality, long-lasting putter. I was really looking for a milled face. I found two putters that i really hit well: The Scotty Del Mar, and The Odyssey tour series #9.
I currently have a Rossie blade, and can tolerate how it plays, it just doesn't feel like it pops off the face, like a milled face, and I don't putt very well with it. it kind of is like a club that i just don't really value having in my bag, like i should.
The odyssey was my initial thought, and I hit it very well. It would be a great replacement, and they have a demo'd one right now that doesn't have a scratch on it at my local golf mart.
The scotty kind of appeals to my inner putter "Snob" but it also hit the ball very clean, and i like the adjustable weight feature. Also, I have heard that they retain value well, and can be sold off up to 10 years down the road.
