  1. Had my first eagle yesterday, 470 par 5, pushed a drive 20 yards right of the fairway, 160 out hit a draw 8 iron over and around the trees and stuck it to 20ft. Made the 20 footer downhill!

  4. http://golf.about.com/od/beginners/ss/markscorecard_3.htm This website says to only count shots taken on the putting surface, so I guess that according to this site that putts off the fringe should not count in your putts per round.
  5. I recently just started keeping track of my golf stats (Putts,GIR,Fairways,etc.). When I putt off the fringe I mark that as a putt in my stats, I was wondering what the proper ruling is or what you count the fringe as?.
  6. Tiger Woods -8 Graeme McDowell -6 Steve Stricker -8
  7. In one of my high school matches I had 260 in so I decided to lay-up in front of the water, my lay up bounced of a yardage stone and bounced an extra 30 yards and dropping into the water.
  8. That would work out well and save me from some back problems haha, thanks for the suggestion.
  9. I use Nike Golf 360, you enter your score, putts and where you hit your drive and it calculates your GIR percentage, putts per round, and driving accuracy.

  11. I took the amount of tournaments Jack won and divided it by the amount he played in, I now see that my original stats were uneven because I calculated all of the tournaments Jack played in until he was about 60 when he didn't win on the PGA Tour.
  12. I was not around to see Jack play, but after seeing the pure dominence Tiger has displayed in his era I would have to say Tiger is the greatest. Tiger has won over 27% of the tournaments he has played in, including winning 53% of the tournaments he played in in 2006. While Jack only won 14% of the tournaments he played in.
