I just read that he and his wife are expecting their second child in late winter. Personally I'd like to see him have a son this time :)

I bought a GolfBuddy Plus last week and used it on the weekend. Loved it. I got to use it on a course not supported by SkyCaddie, which made someone in our house, a tinsy bit ticked off.

I just bought a GolfBuddy Plus gps at our local golf store (perfect lies) was on sale for $199 canadian (priced online at american sites for $399) and it came with lots of courses I play at already loaded. It even has courses that my b/f can't get on his SkyCaddie. Going to try it our today at Riverway Golf Course!

He did do a great job. I have to tell you the "ladies" were impressed!! It was my first golf tournament that I ever organized and I wanted something other then the traditional trophy to present. When he told me this happened (in an email, as we were both at work) and told me this "goo" went all over the trophy bases, I had visions of them all being ruined. Thank goodness, it was water soluble!!!!!!!!! I might add, the tournament was a complete success, great weather, tons of fun and prizes......and a great meal (which I prepared).......lol Good time had by all!!

Not keen on the ones we have in our area

I golf with a friend that "forgets" to count a stroke if ball goes in the water, or has to drop a ball because her's is lost in the bushes and is not playable. I keep track of what I do, and count those strokes. It just erks me, because at the end of the game, she claims to have a better score I don't say anything because she is the only female friend I have that golfs, if I upset her, I may not have anyone ..... not worth it!
