  1. Agreed. If that was tigers attempt of being more respectful to the game of golf it was pretty crap. Great to see a win for Phil and his family. Wont see those happy smiles and face in the woods household even if he does get that 19th major.
  2. haha u know what they sell about the female sense of direction... jk... tho when my sister plays golf she consistently lines up 20 yards left or right of the target. hey Ben i was wondering how do u think u would go against someone like lorena, michelle or Ai? Against ueda u seem like u would lose on purpose....
  3. Suprised no one has mentioned this yet as i thought she had a few fans on here. Congratulations to Ai on a good start to the season. With woods out the LPGA should really try and capitalize on the form of young stars like Ai.
  4. agree 100%. People that say oh but hes a doting loving good father blah blah blah piss me off. Ofcourse he loves his kids, they carry his genes and lets face it tiger loves tiger. U can love your kids like crazy and still be a shitty father.
  5. what happened to 56 out of 60mins of golf? or is that on fri and sat? geez these two are playing some round.. i bet you phil falls 1 shot short coz of that double on 12 how well is he striking it tho... incredible...
  6. phils putt not to shabby either! cabrera looks like he might give back a few... only perry infront of phil! Go phil!!!
  7. i saw a documentary on tiger which contained an interview with a young (12 or so) tiger where he was talking about the prejudice he feels when he use to travel for junior tournaments. That kind of impression you get when your a kid stays with you forever. I would say its not that hes afraid of the South. He probably just doesnt have fond memories of it or doesnt feel comfortable there.
  8. Ian Baker Finch shot a 92 in the British Open in 1997 after winning it in 1991.
  9. The article is such an exaggeration. $2m to develop a driver doesnt equate to a $2m driver. They will probably produce 500 000 of these things meaning a development cost of $4 a driver. Cant wait to watch him it it tho... if that kid can carry 350 with that thing im off to the store....
  10. no... im the guy always leaving stuff around... give me my $hit back
  11. I think he prob wants to play it safe/spend some time with his family. He could play well into his 40s so time with the kids while they are growing will be rare... Also golf is not like bball/football where u can 'suprise' ur opponents. Though this is debateable ur performance doesnt have a direct influence on ur opponents. Wouldnt it be great tho if he as working on something ridiculously spectacular and came out and won the slam next yr.... a real grand slam this time
  12. A starter nazi... If your tee time is 1pm as of 12:55 you are late...
  13. i use to have the MX-19s before changing to my current set recently. They are a bit chunky but are very easy to hit. Clubs 5 4 have a ridiculous amount of offset and are extremely chunky. If you are patient and are gonna put in a lot of practice id recommend something different. In my opinion after awhile u will want to get a new set. But if you were just intending to have a hit once in awhile then the mx19s are perfect.
  14. yeah since standing closer to the ball my back has been a lot better... if its good enough for tiger and mr nelson its good enough for me
  15. Hi Ive recently been trying to work on my backswing and have change from opening the club face alot to having it relatively shut during the backswing which seems to help eliminate the need to work my wrists as much during the down swing. This seems to work well with irons but im unsure as to whether i should do this with the driver too. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. I also have been watching a lot of youtube swing vision videos recently and notice that on his irons tiger stands a lot closer to the ball than other players and swings more up and down than other players. Ive tried this with varying success and was wondering if this was a good habit to get into or does tiger do it because he is tiger and could probably stand on his head and hit the ball flush...
