anyone still use Wood Persimmoned Golf Clubs? I have a Hogan 4 Wood that I got in 1970, and I can hit it 250 yards, accurate too.

Eventually, I'll get the hint and stop advertising, which is against the rules.

I have an old spalding persimmon that I take to the range occasionally. When you catch it good it feels sweet and goes just as far as my bertha, but its not as forgiving on mishits. Awesome sound too and its pretty easy to take off the deck.

Driver: Callaway X460 Tour

i have a 14* Brassie for my tee shots and fairway wood shots as well.............was out playin today...............LOVE that sound off the wood woods...................and when i get it on the sweet spot it goes as far as the modern ones just about

hear this song occasionally when i crack my persimmon driver (has to have misty conditions)

I don't play with them anymore, but I still have 5-6 persimmon drivers. I have some Toney Pennas, Jack Nicklaus MacGregors, and a Ben Crenshaw Cleveland driver. They still look sweet.

i have an ofer golf driver that i can carry about 230. its fun to hit every once in a while.

In my freestyle:
Driver: 10.5* G5 with UST V2
F.W. wood: 16* retro raylor with Aldila HM-40 Tour Gold
Irons: i5 3-pw. Stiff cs lite shafts
