Has losing/gaining weight affected your game?

I was reading this thread I am FAT

and it got me thinking. Has anyone who's either lost weight or gained weight noticed a difference in their golf game? Seems to me that if you lose weight and your used to swinging your club around (excuse the expression, no offense please) your beer gut, to have it gone would negatively affect your game and vice versa.

depends on how you lose weight... I've always been a bigger kid but the type who's shoulders always extend beyond the love handles type. I've been in a gym since 15 so even though I'm losing weight now I'm gaining yards because I make sure I'm in the gym and not just dieting
