Well I moved from Connecticut to Maryland on August 30th with no job to speak of, and a very very friendly set of Girlfriends parents who are putting me up. Their back yard is separated from a golf course by a chain-link fence, and because I'm living off savings at the moment, I decided to leave my golf clubs with my parents in NY, lest I be tempted... Well darnit, I'M TEMPTED, and I can't do anything about it.

Needless to say, I'm a little aggravated... I need a job soon, cuz this is brutal.

Talk about a tease. Tell your parents to send you the clubs and get a job ASAP!

They might not be friendly for long if you're out playing golf instead of looking for a job!!!!!! Best leave the clubs where they are!

I think not bringing the clubs down was the smart choice... But definitely the harder one. I may just have to stop looking out of certain windows in their house for a while, hahaha.

    • Day 130: Cinco de Mayo Day 7/24 of Full Speed Spectrum training. Difficult training day after struggling to certify my warmup yesterday, and today. Finished 13 mph lower than my training speed on Thursday. Hope to hit some balls today.
    • Yeah, I think I misread that part. I read "in front of" and kinda skipped the rest.
    • We just completed our winter league (Jan 1 - April 30)  Our scoring was simple.  We used the 18 birdies app.  You get 1 point for every member of the league you beat head to head in an 18 hole round (no handicap).  You also get a point for completing the round.  Therefore 4 members play a round- winner of the round gets 4 points, runner-up gets 3, third gets 2, and last gets 1.  Points accumulate throughout the season.  You can play as many times as you want. Our winner accumulated 110 points while second was 102 and third was 97.  We had a total of 16 members in the league.  No issues whatsoever.  All about fun.
    • I had the D-9's a while back, thought the stock Wilson grips were rubbish.  I put Pure grips on them. Pure is now out of business but available on Golfworks.  Currently some colors in stock as of today. PURE Wrap Golf Grips - The GolfWorks PURE Golf's tackiest grip, the Wrap features a perforated wrap design and is ideal for golfers that prefer a slightly softer, more muted feel at impact.
