1 Iron Golf, anyone???

So I stumble across this link http://www.1irongolf.com on TGC's website. I must admit that I probably would have given it a try when I started playing six years ago. Now, however, I'm more of a quasi-traditionalist--I own a hybrid, but don't even play it. I'm still a bit curious, but not enough to waste money on a trial experience.

Anyone here experienced 1 Iron Golf? Your thoughts?

Wow, very interesting. I see why it works but I bet you lose a lot of distance moving up to the longer clubs.

But wait....control for the short irons comes with the shorter shaft, correct? And extra length comes from the higher swing speed from a a longer club...then you are just taking an average?

Yeah...I'm thinking it would be a difficult transition (learning distances) for someone accustomed to playing a more traditional set. --LBB
