Any input from you golfers that have gamed any of the above? I'm thinking of replacing my Cobra DWS for a 21* or 22* model of one of the above iron like hybrids. While I have a very moderate swing speed (92-95), I find that when I lean on my current hybrid for a little extra distance, I just hit a higher but not longer shot.

I'd like to keep a relatively high ball flight, but with the option of hitting longer or lower when I need to. Plus I would like the added control and playability that a shorter shafted iron shaped hybrid might allow. I'm not wild with my current hybrid, but more control would always be better.

Thanks in advance for any input!

I would not recomend either of those!! haha really, the 503 goes left.. quick! had a very hard time keeping the darn thing straight, and even harder to control a fade or draw!! The fli hi was much better, but not great. i lke it as a long iron substitute, but did not find it was great out of the rough.. What i would recomend to you is the Fourteen driving iron...the 858, 660 , and whatever other models they make, i really enjoyed. But i would stay away from the 503, good club during the honeymoon, but it ends quickly!!

    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
    • Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.
