Wedge shaft question

So I just got in my Vokey 60degree wedge today. (ebay buy)

It is about 2 inches taller than my SW. It looks like the shafts are about the same but the hosel is longer on the vokey. The vokey site states it should be 35" which my sw is 35.75". Is it possibile that this was a +2 vokey, any way to tell?

The shaft is the stock shaft Dynamic Gold S200. If I need it cut down should I get a replacement shaft? Replace my other wedge shafts also?

Should I just take it to the local shop and have it fitted for me and see what they say?

it was only 25dollars and is in great condition so I can do some work on it and still be ahead of the game.

You have to measure from the butt of the grip to the bottom of the sole. Stopping at the hosel probably will not give you an acurate number. Stock for stock the 60 is supposed to be the same, if not shorter than the SW.

To the bottom of the sole it is about 37"

Am I able to remove the grip and cut down two inches and install a new grip?
