I've been hitting a Taylor Made 07 Burner with a Pro launch red x shaft for about two years. I'm going to buy a newer driver in the near future so this is what I'm looking at.
Ping G15 driver - $299
TaylorMade Burner Superfast driver - $249
TaylorMade R9 460 driver - $299

Which one would be the easiest to hit and still be able to work the ball some?

I think the ProLaunch red shaft is too stiff for me. I have to work to keep the ball in the fairway, I just cant swing with a relaxed swing because I'm always trying to place the ball instead of hitting a smooth relaxed swing. I think it's time for a change.

so, then why not just change the shaft?? unless your money is burning a whole in your pocket.

I might check into that. I plan on making a trip to the GolfSmith store in Birmingham next week. I'll see what they can do for me.

I just purchased an 09 diablo and love it. It comes stock with an aldila dvs shaft, and from what you are saying it may be the perfect club and shaft for you. It can be had new for only 120$, do yourself a favor and try hitting it at golfsmith.

I got mine at golfsmith, and sorry I was wrong,,, I just looked on the web site and they are 149.99. still a great buy
