Brock MacKenzie (T-2 at Canadian Open) ....Former product of the University of Washington who came out with very high expectations..he has struggled with his putter and consistency, and has no status on even the Nationwide Tour right now....he is currently playing on the Canadian Tour (2nd on the ML) and won a couple weeks ago....it is an understatment to say that this is a HUGE weekend for him coming up...a great, great opportunity if he can play well over the weekend...I believe a top-10 will get him into the field next week (anyone confirm?)...of course, we all know what a win would do for him.

Michael Putnam (T-1 at Children's Hospital (Nationwide))..... started the year with only limited status on the Nationwide and has played himself to 45th on the ML with some very solid play....A native of Tacoma, WA through Pepperdine University...played on the PGA a couple years back, but didn't stick....a win at this tournament would definitely go a long, long way to getting back out on the PGA next year.....

Just a shout out for the other northwest guys on the forum......
