Haha I stole the idea from the guys that paint their airsoft and paintball guns digital.  I should try to get them to do Boo's woods in digital though.  That would be sweet!

I just painted my Nike SQ sumo white, I'll post pics when it's done drying and cleaned up. I used matte white lacquer and a matte clear coat for protection. I got the driver for free so thought i'd mess around with it to see how i could make it look..yours looks good man, lots of time put into it.

Just when you thought the Nike SQ Sumo couldn't get any more square.

I like the original. But if it got scratched up in a car with something on it, you might want to rethink the final coat. You could probably use what ever paint you wanted for the color (an acrylic in a spray can), but I'd have to go for a 2 part enamel to finish it using an air brush. I have done a lot of car painting over the years and 2k enamel although tricky to use is by far the most durable finish (obviously). Just put it under a heat lamp or in the sun (dust free area is vital) and let it harden for a few days. You could probably get some from a crash repair place. You wouldn't need much, but the results would be longer lasting.

    • The draft is kind of a crap shoot anyway. It’s a guess whether a player is really going to bloom in the pros. It reminds me of those kids I went to college with who were high class rank and 800/800 SATs and flunked out freshman year. College FB is a lot different than the NFL.

    • I have to confess. I figured somebody would grab Sanders in the second round. He isn't perfect by any stretch, but so often NFL teams reach for quarterbacks.  I only saw one Colorado Game last year and I watched it in a restaurant/pub/bar place. I have to say I thought Sanders was good. He looked accurate and his O-line was terrible. ... I mean really terrible. Kid was running for his life the second he got the ball in his hands. My thought is that quarterbacks who play behind bad O-lines in college sometimes may make better pros. They get used to having to make quick decisions, and throwing the ball with guys in their face.  A lot of folks are saying his slide is because of his dad. I'm not sure if that's true or not true. I've also heard that next year's crop of QB's is supposed to be really good, so teams feel like "Hey, let's wait until next year."
