Fed Ex Cup & WGC a Success!

While you may argue with how the Fed Ex Champ is determined, you can't argue that the Fed Ex Cup and World Golf Championships get the top players in the World competing against each other more often.

When the playoffs start next week, I believe it will include all of the top 28 players in the World with the exception of PGA Tour Member Louis Oosthuizen who is currently out of the top 125 and hasn't played since withdrawing from the Open with an injury.

Without the FEC guys like McIlroy, Westwood and Poulter might not have taken up PGA Tour membership and wouldn't be competing against the top American players after they holed their last putt at the PGA Championship.

I am looking forward to the playoffs this year and wouldn't be surprised if they go a long way in determining Player of the Year.
