Hey all, I currently live In the Charlotte, Nc area... Lots of great courses. I may be re-locating to Nashville, Tn. I play a lot, ( I mean alot of golf) I currently have a membership that includes 7 courses throughout the city. Are there any places like this in Nashville. If not, where's a good club with league events? My current league runs from April - Nov. Many events, as well as challenge ladders, and different ongoing tourneys. Much thanks!

I am from knoxvills..2 hours east. I don't know a lot about the courses there. If you are looking for an active country club there is one called stones river. Also the club pro there is a nice guy who is 5sk certified. As far as public courses I have heard a lot about a course called Ft. Oglethorpe.

I am from Nashville so maybe I can help a little bit. I guess it depends on what part of Nashville you will live in and how much you want to spend.  If you are moving to the South Nashville/Brentwood area, Nashville Golf and Athletic is located there. Not a fancy clubhouse but a challenging course that is usually in good shape, with fast greens. A small number of members so it is usually not any trouble getting on, and they have quite a few member tournaments/points games.  If a private membership is not a necessity, you could travel south to Murfreesboro and play Old Fort.  They have a very active men's golf association that is run well and the course is well maintained.  On the eastern side of Nashville, Mt. Juliet has a couple of courses, Windtree and Pine Creek, that have yearly memberships and they are nice courses.  About 45 minutes west of town is Greystone, in Dickson. In my top two along with Old Fort.  They have an affordable yearly membership and the course is well maintained, beautiful and can be challenging. I am not a private course guy so I do not much about clubs other than Nashville Golf that I mentioned, but maybe that will get you started.  (As far as I know there are not any 7 course type memberships that you are a part of in Charlotte._
