  1. 44 points for winning and guaranteed points for showing up to a silly season event is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. Why should you win points for coming dead last? That doesn't even happen at a major Edit: If Tiger wins he will jump from 52nd to about 20th. A 32 place jump for winning his own silly season event
  2. What a way to win
  3. He's been on the road for 10+ weeks and the only break he had ended up with him being on a drip. It's amazing that he is up near the top of the leaderboard at all.
  4. What did Noh do to get an 8 on the last?
  5. He's only played 2 holes and he's level par for them....
  6. Not many could shoot a course record 62 on a course measuring over 7,800 yards
  7. Lee Westwood is playing incredible
  8. This is likely why Rory has changed from Chubby Chandler......he is completely burnt out from this schedule Chubby gave him. He said he is never going doing this 12 weeks around the world end of season trip again. His new agent has him checked in for check ups in a Dubai hospital in a few days because he is worried about him apparently.
  9. Great to see 20 year old Seung-yul Noh tied for 2nd after shooting a 64 today. That kid has a great future ahead of him, it would(will) be great to see him on the PGA Tour.
  10. I will watch it whenever I'm having a bad day and it will bring a smile to my face
  11. Almost 3
  12. Hello World 2.0
  13. Kevin Na was in that video more than most
  14. Great looking leaderboard heading into the weekend. Francesco is the only player completely out of it 1 Graeme McDowell -7 18 -5 70 67 T2 Jason Dufner -6 18 -4 70 68 T2 Robert Karlsson -6 18 -3 69 69 T2 Martin Kaymer -6 18 -4 70 68 T2 Lee Westwood -6 18 -2 68 70 T6 Simon Dyson -4 18 -2 70 70 T6 Kim Kyung-Tae -4 18 -2 70 70 8 Anders Hansen -3 18 -3 72 69 T9 Luke Donald -2 18 E 70 72 T9 Charl Schwartzel -2 18 +2 68 74 11 Darren Clarke -1 18 -3 74 69 12 Francesco Molinari +5 18 +5 72 77
  15. Since my college course contains a lot of stats, and I have a general love of all things stats, I would like to post a stat This was Rory's 13th round of 65 or better this year.
  16. Could be anyone that said it, I still wouldn't get it. I don't see the offense to Tiger. Saying that Tigers bad is everyone elses normal? An insult? That's a praise
  17. It must be an American 35mph wind rather than an Irish 35mph
  18. At least you can read what I said. Cheers.
  19. Where did I sidestep? I answered the question on the last page? Making things up again. Why do you care so much about my opinion anyway? I'm actually flattered that you care so much. It's nice that my opinions are cared about so much by a stranger on a discussion forum. Feel free to continue asking me a question that I answered already though. It's amusing me.
  20. As if I was being serious when saying that. I'm hardly going to run an analysis on STATA to try and find out. I was quite obviously joking. Anyway, Sean Miller has pointed out that you were just trolling me. If I had known that from the start I wouldn't have even bothered replying.
  21. I'm not sure. I'll run an analysis tomorrow and let you know. If I was to follow my instincts I would say the PGA Tour, since many internationals sign up to it due to 6 of the 8 biggest events being on American soil. No need to be so worked up about it, it's only a DISCUSSION forum, as you said. "The comment came out of nowhere and made no sense in the discussion"? There was a discussion going on about tours and their deepness, and thats what I posted about? Now, just leave it alone. I made a pretty basic post that made sense and 99.9% of people would likely agree with, no need to get worked up.
  22. “I wasn't playing against Tiger Woods when he had that aura. I was watching on TV … There was a presence about him. There still is to some extent, but when you’re on the golf course you simply block it out . . . I'm not sure we are going to see him dominate again the way he did. He never seemed like he would make a mistake. It's not that he's playing badly. He's simply playing badly by Tiger's standards. He's playing like an ordinary golfer .” I still don't see how this could possibly be interpreted as a shot at Tiger. That's a shot at other golfers if anything
  23. Do you have a problem or something? Why are you trying to put words into my mouth? Are you trying to say what I originally posted is incorrect? I must have offended you in another life or something.
  24. Guess I'm talking to myself here. T1 Charl Schwartzel -4 18 -4 68 T1 Lee Westwood -4 18 -4 68 3 Robert Karlsson -3 18 -3 69 T4 Luke Donald -2 18 -2 70 T4 Jason Dufner -2 18 -2 70 T4 Simon Dyson -2 18 -2 70 T4 Martin Kaymer -2 18 -2 70 T4 Kim Kyung-Tae -2 18 -2 70 T4 Graeme McDowell -2 18 -2 70 T10 Anders Hansen E 18 E 72 T10 Francesco Molinari E 18 E 72 12 Darren Clarke +2 18 +2 74 Leaderboard set up nicely for the last 3 rounds. Luke was at 4 under before a double on 17.
