  1. Other than the hat, shirt, headcover, etc that you get for joining what are the other benefits of Club Cameron?
  2. Any combination of 14 clubs that work for you so you can even have 14 putters if you want ;)
  3. With rain gear you definately get what you pay for and what you're really paying for is how well it breathes and keeps your body temp regular. I live in an area that doesn't get much rain so I bought cheaper rain pants but did splurge on a Mizuno rain jacket because the sleeves zipoff and makes a great windshirt when I want one. The Mizuno is great quality and costs 1/2 of what the Footjoy Zip one costs.
  4. Rumor is the R9 driver will be in the 440-450 size range and possibly incorporate carbon/ti blend
  5. I do this with my Mizuno wedges and it helps. I soak'em overnight and just put them in the bag without wiping them off but I have to repeat it often Use cold water as it has more oxygen then hot water.
  6. Fill up the kitchen sink with 3-4 inches of water....leave clubs in overnight :)
  7. I've hit the following and liked them but haven't purchased them Mizuno 460 Cleveland Comp Titleist 905's TaylorMade 510 TP I own 3 and will use them depending on my mood TaylorMade R7 Ping G2 Callaway Prototype - not allowed to discuss more until they release it :( Definately spend some time on a launch monitor to see which combination of head and shaft work. And do it over several visits because you're swing will vary from day to day (hopefully not though)
  8. The weight change is something new to putters. For those people (like me) who change putters alot, depending on the speed of the greens or just feel. TM is still using the 2-14 gram cartriges but I think the company "Heavy Putter" ( www.heavyputter.com ) has it right. They aren't as pretty as some but you can change the weight at the head or even with a cartrige installed in the shaft near the grip.
  9. Golf Channel spotlighted the new R7 Fairway...should be available in June and will retail for (you sitting down) $500 graphite shaft and $450 Steel shaft OUCH!
  10. Sorry I should have been clearer when I wrote my reply. Although even though I like the 905 I still feel there are better drivers out there for the mass of people. About the shaft remarks, what I meant was for him personally not to re-shaft it or that his clubmaker might not know about the 905's new hosel design and to have Titleist do it. Heck when I get a new club, having "my" shaft and "my" grip installed is the first thing I do :)
  11. Forget blaming the clubs....no offense but if you truely haven't broken 100 then you need lessons not new irons, drivers or special shafts. **I don't mean to sound like a grumpy man - It's a catch 22, you need decent clubs to play but you need a semi-consistent swing to have a good feel for the clubs...I wish you luck my friend. Personally I started playing the G2's and loved them. I chose them becaue I liked the looks, I trust the company and I also live near them so I know if I needed adjustments I could get them done cheap and quick. Basically a set I can grow with.
  12. 1st - Titleist drivers aren't the most forgiving so unless your single digits don't bother. 2nd - DO NOT REPLACE THE SHAFT Read Titleist's info on warranty/reshafting specifically the 905's - http://www.titleist.com/mediacenter/...ail.asp?id=144 The following outlines our policy and procedures regarding 905 driver reshafting. A warning label will be placed on all 905 drivers as follows: The label reads... CRITICAL WARRANTY INFORMATION Titleist Pro Titanium 905 1. Titleist 905 drivers feature an innovative, CNC milled aluminum hosel tube for optimum weight distribution. 2. The use of conventional reshaft methods will damage or compromise the structural integrity of the hosel tube. 3. In order to maintain the Titleist factory warranty, all reshaft or repair work must be done by the Titleist repair department. 4. Please call Titleist at 1-800-742-7609 or visit titleist.com/reshaft for more information. Titleist Repair/Reshaft Policy Consistent with our long standing policy, the only way to maintain the factory warranty on a Titleist golf club is to have any repair or reshaft work done by Titleist. Any work done on any club outside of Titleist will void the factory warranty. 905 Reshaft and Return Procedures (through the Titleist Repair Dept) There are three ways to return 905 drivers to Titleist for reshaft work. All returns must have an RA# or they will not be accepted. 1. Return the product through an authorized Titleist golf professional or golf retailer. 2. Call Titleist directly at 1-800-742-7609. 3. Email Titleist directly at DriverReshaft@acushnetgolf.com
  13. I've never been a fan of their faiway woods but the 904 are the best I've ever hit!!! I have the 13 & 17 with the stock steel shaft's and I love hitting them off the tee and anywhere on the course. Great control and they feel awesome!
