Grass only unless I'm hitting the ball off a tee. I feel like I make way to good of contact off the mat even if it doesn't feel like that good of a swing. like the club face bounces and glides under the ball insead of hitting the grass and grabbing.

39 been playing since I was 5 or 6. Believe me golf was a lot easier when I was young still haven't figured out why though?

What part of wisconsin? I'm from Racine. I played golf on new Years day one year in like 75 deg. The further north the longer takes man! It's snowing in Arizona if that makes you feel a little better Stay warm...Joel

A little tired of winter myself, it's snowing in Az and I had to cancel a round of golf this morning on account of 25 mph winds. Can't wait for spring!!

I watched Ricky go out of his way to sign an autograph for a little guy in Phoenix and man did the little kid light up. Other than the hole in one on 16 and tommy 2 gloves it was a very cool thing to witness. What kind of clothes were you wearing when you were 20, would you wear it today? You know what I can't stand sweater vests...So For the love of golf! Joel

Hey I am a therapist and a golfer. I would take my doctors suggestion seriously. I wouldn't swing a club until I felt 100% confident I was healed up that way you don't risk screwing up your swing by easing your turn or decreasing your follow through, etc. My buddy was rock climbing 6 weeks after is surgery, but I am sure the healing time envolves a lot of factors including; size, location, age, general fitness and wellness of the person, etc. Be patient and heal up!
