  2. Haha! I didn't see how old the thread was. All I saw was that the last post was made yesterday.

  4. Just picked up my custom fitted Razr X Combo set. 3h, 4h, 5-PW.
  5. Did you guys catch the ad for Big Break Ireland? Coming in September.
  6. I might have to find someone else to root for. Phil keeps breaking my heart!
  7. Along with what I wrote in the first post, I'm about to give up my 2008 BMW 328i Coupe. I'm starting a new job in a few weeks, but it's a third less pay than the previous one. Plus my wife is 8 months pregnant with our first child so it's also not family friendly.
  8. I play every Friday and every other Saturday or Sunday, So about 5-6 rounds a month. My wife said that if I want to keep playing that much, I have to make some cuts somewhere. So far I have given up my iPhone for a a cheaper phone and plan, and I've dropped to basic cable. The Golf Channel is included with basic so I still have that. What have you guys given up?
  9. Yes, I've played both courses though never under USGA conditions. It should make for a good challenge for you guys! Great book! I couldn't put it down!
  10. That's not Washington D.C. It's in Washington State. Gold Mountain GC is in Bremerton, about 45 miles north of where I live.
  11. They should've kept playing golf instead of going to the putt off. Let them play!
  12. All the time. My home course offers $20 twilight that begins at 2pm. I go by myself quite a bit.
  13. 40/46 for an 86. 1 bird, 4 pars, 11 bogeys, 2 doubles. Only hit 5 fairways and 6 greens.
  14. Teed off at 7:30, we were done by 11:00. I think I convinced them to early tee times.
  15. We tee off at 7:30 tomorrow morning. We normally tee off between 10:00 and 11:00. Hopefully they like it and we can continue it. Nothing beats finishing at 11:30 and having the rest of the day left!
  16. We had 10 feet of string to finish off all the putts we left short.
  17. Haha! It was a 4 man scramble. We didn't think 59 would win it but it was good enough by 1 stroke. It was me, a scratch, a 5 capper, and another 12 capper. We each won $100 to local golf retailer.
  18. Did you see my reply about your Penta purchase? If you bought 2 dozen, they owe you a dozen since the current TM deal is buy 2 get 1 free.
  19. Was this recently? If so, they owe you a dozen pentas. Right now they're buy 2 dozen, get a dozen free.
  20. Next is the irons. I really want to hit the Razr X Forged, but no local shop carries them in lefty!
  21. Ended up buying the Diablo Octane. It was down to $199 from $299. Plus, they gave me $40 for my old driver, so I got it for $159! I hit both my old and new driver on their launch monitor. I was averaging about 210-215 carry with my old driver, about 225-230 carry with the new one. Can't wait to take it out to the range!
  22. I traded in my old driver for They gave me $40 for my 2006 Big Bertha 460. The new Diablo Octane was down to $199 from $299. Got it for $159. I then had all my clubs including the new driver regripped with
  23. Bingo. Plus, his short game was bad. He was landing short of the green from inside 75-100 yds many times. This was not his first time playing the course either. He said he play there all the time because he like the twilight rate. ($20 after 2pm) We caught up to him because the group in front of him was slow. He moved up after almost killing one of us when he shanked his drive and sent a screamer that hit my bag to side of the white tees.
  24. No, I will eventually replace both before the end of the year, just wondering which to go with first. That's what I was thinking, just wanted to get some opinions. Though, I've been drooling over the new Callaway Razr X irons!
  25. Both my driver and irons are 5 years old. I currently have to money to replace one, not both. Which one should I replace first?
