  1. Well done! Thats awesome Wish I could shoot my best scores in club championships...
  2. Driver - 250 3 Wood - 230 Hybrid - 200 4 iron - 185 5 iron - 175 6 iron - 165 7 iron - 154 8 iron - 143 9 iron - 130 PW - 120 52 - 105 56 - 93 60 - 80
  3. Sorry about the spam, not sure what happened there. But yeah, my thoughts would be that if you decide to change irons, make sure you get properly fitted because you might need to change to reg flex shafts to get the ball in the air a bit more easily.
  4. This could be due to him "flipping" is bottom hand through impact. To counter this, get him to feel like his hands are ahead of the clubhead at impact or like he is trying to hit to ball as low as possible.
  5. As far as the irons you are using are concerned, what titleist irons are they? and what flex shaft is in them? A more forgiving clubhead will provide more forgiveness on mishits but may or may not produce a higher ball flight. But if the shaft you are using in your irons is too stiff, you may need to change to a more flexible option, this will produce a higher ball flight more easily than just changing the type of iron.

  8. One tip to help with hitting down with your irons is to concentrate on your hands being ahead of the ball at impact, this will also help you hit the ball first and make better, more consistent contact
  9. My thoughts that are maybe the driver you are using doesn't have enough loft. When you use a driver that has too little loft, you subconsciously open the face to add loft at impact, which results in a high and right shot. Most people then change to a lower lofted driver because they are hitting it so high which only compounds the problem. As you are hitting your 3 wood with a slight draw you should be able to do the same thing with your driver but i would suggest switching to an 11 or 12 degree driver, which will allow you to make a more powerful swing, while still getting the ball in the air.
  10. I just hope white drivers are going the same way as square headed drivers
  11. I have a bag full of old clubs I've kept just on the off chance I might need them one day, yet I haven't changed back to any of them yet. I think it's best to learn how to hit the 14 clubs in my bag rather than trying to rotate between 18-20
  12. I'd recommend upgrading your wedges to titleist vokeys, I got them in 52, 56 and 60 a couple of months back and am loving them. As for a new hybrid, I'm in the same boat as you, need to upgrade mine but not sure what to get
