Lol. I was being sarcastic :-\

Wow!!! I think he should be hung, drawn and quartered and one of the quarters displayed at each of the 4 majors as an example to all golfers of how not to behave to their fans. Shame on him!!!!

When I first got the TS I couldn't hit it either - daisy cutters all day long. My old (normal) shot was to pick the ball off the top (sweeper). Since getting the TS I've learned to take a proper divot and hit down on the ball. You just have to stick at it and as Beachcomber said make sure you have a forward press at address. I even used to exaggerate this forward lean when using the TS. This is one training aid that does work. PS cool avatar (hail hail!!!)

Maybe some peope don't like to post because they feel shy. Well that's my excuse anyway - I get really shy online.

Considering muscle back blades

This thread is funny. Reminds me of the "what golf bad will fit in my Nissan 350Z?" thread. -
Graeme McDowel (-10) Padraig Harrington (-9) Justin Rose (-10) Sadly only for fun.

Tour edge exotics 11.5* 3++ wood
the19thhole replied to Antiskell's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I have a CB4 15* and love it. Same shaft as OP in a stiff and I agree this thing is a bomber. Blew away the competition when I was in the market for a 3W this year. -
I never said you shouldn't have goals or aim high, all I said it is unrealistic to believe we can be anything we want to be and in some ways it's not fair to encourage this believe in others. At some point they just have to be told, look you can't sing or be a brain surgeon or play golf. You don't have the necessary skills. As it happens you're correct I never complain about my life and I did aim high, but I was realsitic in what I knew I could achieve. I knew my skills and my limitations. My life isn't "meh" it's pretty cool actually and I have been very succesfull in my career. I like people who aim high, but I like it better when they shut up about it and just do it. The problem with the OP and others like him is that all they do is tell you that they are going to be the next big whatever, but never actually do anything about it and then expect the world to owe them a living or feel sorry for them. I'm sorry if I can't be more encouraging to the OP, but I feel he would be better served by being given a dose of reality. He is not going to be a pro golfer. I think this was the point I was trying to make.

On the tour, but never a winner. Would you accept?
the19thhole replied to joekelly's topic in Tour Talk
Yes, where do I sign up? Although I can see the point of the discussion because of our competitive nature we would want to win at least once. -
Michelle Wie...Will she ever return to her previous form?
the19thhole replied to Tontj5's topic in Tour Talk
I would have thought that all the pro's teach according to his philosophy, would kind of defeat the purpose if they didn't. Cannot imagine Ledbetter allowing someone to teach something that may be contradictory to his school of thought. -
Is there anyway we can stop threads like this because they serve no purpose. We need an "I'm going to be a Pro" filter. FWIW that swing and those distances don't match up. Had to laugh when he said he could compete with some of the best amateurs - not with that swing. Crap I just posted on this thread. LOL

I guess at 1-2 wins a year at best and that's me being generous.
