  1. Footjoy gloves are the best.
  2. I think Tiger is right. I'd like to see it banded too.
  3. Sergio Garcia he was just electric when he came on the scene. I was there when he won his first tour title at the Irish Open. Others would be Harrington, and Dustin Johnson what a cool dude. Freddie Couples will always be one of my favourites. Dislikes: Ben Crane: ooo look at me I'm funny but your incredibly slow player. It's a disgrace actually. Bubba Watson: Big time Charlie wouldn't share a car with another player at a European tour event he wanted his own car. That put me off him. Zach Johnson: just never took to the guy something about him I don't like. Scott Hoch: never liked him at all. He looks a horrible person
  4. For me if you feel good going out on the course then that gives you an edge and makes you feel better about your game. It's the same in all walks of life. If you go to work in a nice suit you feel more confident about yourself. If you go to the gym and lose 2-3 stone and build muscle your gonna feel more confident wearing a t-shirt or heading to the beach/pool. I have a Adidas reversible belt Black/White got it a couple of months ago. I wear the black more often as there is a stigma with guys wearing a white belt. I've worn it on the white side maybe twice depends who I play with. Some guys might say look at this flash harry and if you play bad then they'll rip the piss behind your back. To hell with them it's a nice look with a black, grey or navy pants.
  5. Thinking of getting these as my second pair. I have Adidas black 4.0 tour ones but I want a white pair as well. I forked out 135 bucks on my Adidas shoes so don't want to do the same with a second pair and I know the FJ Icon ones are the top market FJ shoe but the AQL look equally nice and are the cheaper option 70-80 bucks Are they a good shoe? I know I'm going for the less quality one but I'd still like them to be a very comfy shoe. Thanks :-)
  6. Thank you Michi, that's makes sense now :) I can see how that would help. I'm going to look into that over the next few days and decide on the re-gripping. Thanks again :-)
  7. I always use pants then again where I am doesn't exactly get too hot. When I visited Phoenix one summer I wore shorts :-) that was hot!!
  8. Got myself wet weather footjoy gloves. $32 Hoping my Taylor Made ghost putter is in the next time I head to the pro shop. :-)
  9. I'm a big pro v man and have played them for 3-4 years now and I was all out of them one day. I went to the pro shop picked up the Callaway Si golf ball. It's a superb ball lovely feel and doesn't mark as much as the prov ball. I also used the taylor made pentra ball also a good ball. There's alternatives to the Pro V1's out there and less expensive but equally good.
  10. Cheers mate. Can you explain a bit more about the wedges part I didn't quite get you? :-)
  11. Does it make a difference??
  12. Not sure either buddy. I think for myself I would like 2-3 more rolls of tape under my right hand. In a recent ping ad bubba watson was saying he had something like 8 rolls of tape under his left hand and 4 under his right hand. Lol but that is bubba....
  13. Been looking at re gripping my wedges and I've noticed some people don't just put the standard 1 or 2 rolls of tape around the shaft. They put for example 4 rolls where there left hand is and maybe 6 under their right hand. I do like the thought of having it more chunky under my right hand for a better feel. Anyone tried this?
  14. Just park the bag beside the green have a small towel that you wet before going out to clean the ball. I do that and also have an ordinary towel for cleaning my clubs.
  15. Hi new here, Thinking of changing my putter and this looks like a lovely putter. Would appreciate some feedback on this putter, have read a bit on it and YouTube clips but would like to here from the ordinary golfer. Thanks :)
