  1. Try out the R9 460. It's a really forgiving club, and i used it when i first started playing. You might even like Nike SQ MachSpeed STR8-FIT Driver, It's on sale for $150. It has a square shaped head, which promotes a straighter and more forgiving ball flight. The shaft of the driver helps too, I suggest getting a driver with a regular flex, and maybe get the shaft trimmed shorter to 43"
  2. i only have one goal.... Make less 3 putts... those are killing me
  3. i hate losing my expensive balls the most. i don't care if i hit a bad shot, but if i lose my ball..... its a different story...
  4. Re-gripped 4-pw mizuno mp-32 irons at the pgatoursuperstore with golf pride tour wrap 2. - $35
  5. did the 52* wedge really make a difference with your chipping? When i chip, i use my 60*, and i'm a horrible chipper. :( Maybe i'll give my 52* a chance next time.
  6. I never put mine in neutral, but my friend has, hahah. And yea, the carts at my place are electric, and i play in the afternoon. It never happened to me in the morning though.
  7. This never really bothered me. When i play, i like to have fun and keep it a little competitive. Most of the guys i play with just like to have fun and socialize. When i tee off, the guys are normally behind me talking to each other and keeping an eye on my ball, and it doesn't affect my performance. I guess it's just preference. The only thing that annoys me is when i see people people messing around on the course, like the other day, i saw a couple of new guys Teeing OFF the GREEN in to the lake for the hell of it.... atleast they parked their cart on the cart path, and not on the green....
  8. Every 4-5 round i play, i have a cart that dies on me and i have to call the proshop to help me out... It appears im the only person at my course that this happens too! I only weigh 170 so i dont think im to big for the cart. Hahaha. My luck......
  9. Thanks iacas! Cant wait for new reviews.
  10. with a driver, you want to sweep the ball, if your hitting down on the ball, you'll loose some distance
  11. Hey, i normally hit a nice straight 250 yard drive, then a nice iron shot near the green, and a good chip onto the green, but when i pull my putter out of my bag, everything goes down hill !!!! When i putt, i can read the green, and control the speed and distance of the ball, but i never putt on line!!! My alignment is horrible. I've watched 100s of youtube videos on putting and im planning on getting lessons, but i want to see if you guys can help!
  12. I spent 2 months practicing on greens and the driving range before i stepped into my first tee box. I never took lessons though. I normaly shoot in the high 80s-low 90s. Putting is my downfall. i Cant read a green to save my life.
  13. I invited them to walk 18 on a hot day (90degree+) and if that didn't work, i showed them a video of Tiger Woods bench-pressing 300 pounds. hahaha
  14. Normally, when i want a high lofted shot, i'll move the ball more forward in my stance, (closer to your left heel if your a right handed golfer) and make my club SWEEP at the ball, not hit down on it.
  15. I only let my friends hit my clubs, because i trust them, and i would let a stranger hit my clubs if he were a good ball striker, but other that that, i wouldn't let anyone hit my clubs. P.S- never hand anyone your clubs when your standing on concrete. Hahaha My scotty cameron has a huge scratch on it's heel because of that...
  16. I always chew on a tee and i keep my gloves on when i putt!
  17. it's been in the high 90's here in Georgia and i still walk 18! I cant afford to play 18 with carts, but the heat doesn't bother me. I'm grateful i'm able to play golf.
  18. It happens to me sometimes, but i can normally find another fun guy at the driving range to play 9 or 18 holes with. If not, then i go walk solo, and most of the time, i play my best when im alone.
  19. Some people buy hats with a logo on it because it looks nice? When i buy a hat, i buy one that looks nice... i'm not trying to advertise and i'm not expecting to get paid for wearing a hat. lol
  20. Yesterday, i shot 98!, i haven't played in about 2 months and yesterday was my first time playing again and i normally shoot in the mid-high 80s. I hate taking a break from golf!
  21. Hey, i've read a couple of great review on golf balls and clubs on this site, so i thought i would join the forums! Im not the best when it come to a forum introduction...so here it goes. I've played golf for about 2 years in Kennesaw Georgia. Im a Junior in highschool. I normally shoot in the mid 80s, on a bad day in the 90s. I always come to this website to read some review on clubs or balls before i buy it. Anddddd, thats about it! btw, can someone tell me how to make a signature with the "in my bag" thing?
