Are you still a 25, or this an old handi.........

I'd much, much rather play with a high handicapper (I do all the time) than a cheater. But honestly, as long as there aren't any wagers going around, I couldn't care less if the other guy cheats, as long as he's having fun. He's only cheating himself. Personally, I hate playing with whiney, angry players who go out expecting to shoot par and end up pouting the whole round because they suck and are on pace for a 120.

I do press with my irons, so maybe I'll have to give it a go.......

Forward press with a putter? Why? How would it help? It seems to me that all it would do is close the face (which has a slight loft).......

Just signed up today after visiting for a couple of weeks. Live in Gresham, OR and get out to play a couple times a week. Only been playing with a passion for about 4 years. Before that, it was an occassional round here and there........ Anywho, I look forward to bullshitting with you guys and chipping in my 2¢ here and there.

Best course I've played is Pacific Dunes, but really, the entire Bandon complex is top notch. Last summer a group of us (10) stayed in a couple of the cabins for a weekend and played each course twice (2 rds a day). Amazing experience, the place is 100% golf in it's purest form. It drastically changed my perspective on the game, and I was already full on addicted before the trip.

My goal this year, is to break 80. I've shot a few 9 hole scores in the 30's, but can never put two sides together. My personal best is an 82, which I've shot 3 or 4 times. A decent round for me is usually 84-86.
