Speaking of breaking clubs, my lil brother has broken two of my drivers at my expense. So needless to say i bought him a 20 dollar burner bubble @ the local shop so he could quit breaking my drivers.

Which Putter do you prefer?

I just picked up a 2006 circa 62 used. I had always wanted a Scotty but I had a really hard time liking any of them until I picked this one up.!! -
has your golf addiction affected other parts of your life?
Berfy replied to golfEnthusiast's topic in Golf Talk
I'm pretty sure my brother and step brother are tired of hearing me talk about golf @ work and every other time of the day. And my poor poor fiance, I swear that one of these days when she gets home and see's me watching the golf channel again she's just going to stab me in the neck. Whats worse is I just got my r7 tp's that I was fitted for on Monday and I can't use them until atleast friday. On Monday I started a vocational school that is right after work every night and the two days after i put in my order i pulled a back muscle @ work. So hopefully after I see the doctor on Friday i'll be heading strait to the range!!!! -
i usually put three dots around the number in a silver sharpie on nike one blacks

i used to have a taylor made taylite bag but i ended up not being all to happy with it. But now i have a nike sasquatch tour stand bag and even though i haven't actually taken it anywhere yet i'm ten times happier with it.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned the sasquatch 2 fairway wood. Its the best three wood i've ever swung and not to un reasonably priced.

but most shops can change the lie angle there cant they? like i don't need to order them +3?
-
hey i have another question to throw out there...since i went and got fitted for my irons should i have my wedges custom built to? going with the same style shaft in all of them plus extra length and lie angle?
-
Well its a beautiful looking wedge and doesn't play all that bad either ;) I just happened to see them on clearance at the local shop and remembered my dad loves his whole set so i thought i'd try them out. This weekend when i go to order my irons i'm either going to pick up the vokey's or the taylormade rac tp's in 52 56 and 60. Have you hit the taylor mades? I've heard they are up there with the spin mills but not really hitting the spin milled I don't know personally.
-
you know fusioncal that really makes sense and i've thought about that myself it just seemed a little odd to me when the rep fitting me asked if i was going to get a matching sandwedge or lobwedge. I'll just order my wedges seperatly
-
Over thanksgiving weekend i got fitted by the Taylor Made rep for a new set of r7 TP's and i was wondering what clubs i should get? I like the idea of getting a couple more hybrids or fairwoods. Also what about pw and aw? In the long run would i be better off getting say the Titelist or the Taylor Made wedges or do the wedges that come in a set good? Thank you for your opinion!

I soo agree. I've got two new drivers from my lil brother since he seems to have a habbit of breaking my driver on the course. Needless to say he doesn't use my drivers anymore. But more important if i knew one of my buddies thought it was cute to undo my strap i would never play with them again. Have some respect for other peoples equipment.

I personally don't think your clothing attire has anything to do with the way you golf. But i do belive that people should atleast not look like a slob on the course.

i just picked up a cleveland vp-5 and i love it...it just seems to have the nicest feel to me

Trion Z: For Real or For Looks?
Berfy replied to Hogan Incarnate's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I don't know about these in particular but i used to get real bad shin splints playing highschool soccer when i started to play on astro turf until someone i know gave me foot soles with magnets in them. I'm not sure if it was a head thing or not but my shin splints where gone and a few of my team mates used them on their knees for quick minor pain relife *why they took them out of my soccer cleats i'll never know* lol -
hey shadow i live around seattle area too have you checked out the craigslist listings? i check them out daily and there always seems to be some nice used clubs on there full sets that aren't to badly priced
-

I'm a weekend hacker but the last few times i had been shooting good for my skill level until this last saturday. I found my golf shoes i got years ago but never really wore because i didn't really golf back then and decided to put them on instead of my running shoes and the whole time i was out golfing i never felt comfortable. I'm used to my ball hooking to the right off the tee but it seemed the ball when left right up down every where but where i wanted it. I'm just wondering if you think it was my shoes or am i just making excuses?

not that i'm a great golfer or anything but i love my R7 460. I've always had a thing for taylormade though i've always thought they were the best hitting clubs (for me)
