  1. Which Clubs: 7 iron, 4 iron Palm Springs Desert Classic Used: About 2 years but were 20+ years old when got them. Shaft: True Temper Steel Where Broken: both heads came unglued. One on the range on on the #3 fairway at Idyl Wyld. Both times head went further than ball. Why Broken: Old, Fatigued deteriorated epoxy. Anything Wrong Prior: Really, Really Old.
  2. Usually twice a week, if I can. Once by myself for about an hour and a half. Once with my off-spring for about an hour.
  3. Can anyone offer feedback on Adam's Irons. I had hit a set of GT500's a few months ago and thought that they hit fairly well for me. They seemed to be a pretty good value. I wanted to give them a second try but can only find them online. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks,
  4. Until the head falls off the darn thing! Then if a wad of bazooka bubble gum will hold it back together I will try to get another round in on it.
  5. Went out solo this morning. Had an awful front nine, 48. The back nine was a bit better, 42. Was slicing every shot with a club greater than a 5 iron.
  6. I NEED to drive. Serious control freek.
  7. Just makes it a little easier to strike the ball well if you tee it up.
  8. I so promise. 3 Hours 59 Minutes and 59 Seconds Or Bust!
  9. I can't help but think that this is pretty sad for a bunch of cultured, sophisticated, well-bred gentlemen to be debating the physical attractiveness of these fine young atheletes...... But I vote Paula. I don't know why but she just has "it".
  10. I have heard a lot of talk in the last few months from teaching pros and club fitters about most amatuers being able to benefit greatly from a 12* or 13* lofted driver. I bought a new driver recently but went with a 10.5* because of cost considerations. I would likely do a bit better with a higher loft but most of the clubs that offered 12 or 13* were out of my price range.
  11. Yes except on the green. Just feels right.
  12. I average about 220 in the air but on a really good day I have very occasionally sent one or two to about 260, but those are rare.
  13. I have been using a Ray Cook Classic Blade. It was cheap when I first started to play 10 years ago. I stroke it quite well but am ready for an upgrade.
  14. I have been using Adam's Ovation 2 fairway woods and have had a good run with them. Dick's Sports currently is selling off their inventory. May want to check out their website.
  15. I have yet to hit callaway real well although I think very highly of the putter line. So from driver to putter I have to say TaylorMade.
