  1. Would anyone know the difference if any between the retail vs. tour ? Is there a tour version? i know about a Prototype, but i believe that was before the X-forged went retail? I could be wrong. Anyone with any insight would be greatly appreciated. Apparently the price is significantly different, the only vague explanation I've seen is, the Tour have no serial number(but this is typical with any Tour) and better forging? thanks
  2. Yeah you're right, bending putter shaft by slamming in his head, calling out the best golfer in the world, in previous competition, then choking.. You're right what was Tiger thinking.
  3. Glenlivet 18
  4. I like the fact that you're able to slow it a down.. The video quality wasn't the best.
  5. what course was this? I just moved from Miami. Anyways, are you going to see these hackers again? did you exchange phone numbers? Exactly..... It's after 5:30am everyone know the rule is to get as many holes in as possible, before sunset.. I would have said, CYA! Keep working on that stroke ....
  6. the easiest way to work on your tempo is to start with a low iron. PW or 7i. work with taking your hands back to 8'clock to 4'clock, work up to 11'clock on your back swing.
  7. you hands are a head of your body.. need to work on your shoulder rotation and pivot. on your backswing turn your back to the target as you come through your downswimg w/ your rightarm coming inside finish up high with your chest facing the target. i cant see your hands at all from that video, so no comment on grip.
  8. Slamming the putter less than an inch behind the ball... I dont think it has anything to do cheating. Integretity of the sport, well that's different! Throwing temper tantrums every week does get old. It almost bit him in the ass this time.
  9. I must admit that yellow is not very attractive. Shouln't the colors been blue? or Plated satin pearl finish. In any case, i will try it out. The C-Series are still an awsome putters.
  10. This is why the game is 90% mental and 10% physical. How many times have you not seen TW thinking out loud with his caddie about approach shots and pin placements and what not.. Good job, you're on your way to better scores.
  11. I dont know about you, i dont know your game, but for me I was self taught to play this game after my baseball career ended. I got a few tips from people here and there. It was not until i broke 80 and decided to take this game seriously and get to know my swing. Why do i do what I do. I started reading books and got prespectives and thoughts from pro's.. That may be the case for many players including PGA pro's from the past. The resources that we have today mainly via media and internet is nothing in comparison to what it was 10 years, which is why it doesnt surprise me that, Nick Price carried that book around. So to the previous post as stated," because your a 5 hcp, the book wont help you because it teaching about fundementals and a 5hcp is expected to know the fundemental" in it's entirety of the game is an assumption and absurd. Reading the book may not only teach you but it may also build your confindence and create an assurance of your game.
  12. The more tournaments i get under my belt, I'll build up more confidence. Just got to keep remembering Fred Couples words. "just have fun, play relax, it's just golf" thanks for the reminder
  13. you're only going to get to be a scratch golfer by your commitment and hard work. How many times have you not heard from pro players say "yeap i learn this from so and so, while playing at?" There is no magical book. but as stated previosly it wouldnt hurt, you're always going to learn or change something about your game, no matter how low you get your score. Alah Tiger Woods P.S. you can always go to a Barnes & Noble and check it out for yourself, before buying it.
  14. I havent read the book, but i'm willing to go out on a hunch and say you may learn a thing or two from Mr. hogan that will improve your game regardless.
  15. It will match your Sumo2 driver  check out the mizuno website
  16. I'm a pretty good ball striker, I shoot par and above most of the time. I purchased my 67's a little while ago. I'ltl be honest i got caught up with the 67 hype and how great they feel, one of the best irons i've ever hit...blah..blah..blah. But am i 100% confident to take them to a tournament at this time, not really. I wont be able to compete again, until next year but when i do, i'm looking strong to get a cavity forged set.. mp60, 695cb or x-forged. When money is the line, everything else walks.
  17. titleist or mizuno, you cant go wrong with either. you're going to decide ultimately. I luv my 67's. I've hit them all, 695mb's was a close 2nd.

    Solheim Cup

ah! I see we're paying attention where it counts the most... The betting line .. In that case, I'll put a couple of bucks for the european team, all in the spirit of club ho'ng
  19. I like Sergio, but he is still a little boy... When he grows up, he may win a major.

    Solheim Cup

Foreign soil plus the crowd. Only once has the cup been won by the visitor -- in 1996, when the Americans won in Wales. It's going to be tough.
  21. What do you guys think? The chances for me holding back and not get the BC2 is slim to none. Has anyone tried it out yet?
  22. read this.... http://thesandtrap.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7691
  23. 1. you're not going much help with what you're provinding. 2. Need close up of wrist angle. 3. Practice swing is different than strking the ball, specially with beginners. From what i see your downswing is an outside-in swing. you're prodicing lots of slice. Your posture from that angle seems ok.

Go USA! I feel an upset..
  25. yeap that head is snapping hard. i'm also seeing that your swinging hard to hit the ball. Take a tad off to develope a good tempo to swing through the ball. Trust me you'll hit it just as far..... Take a look at Ernie Els, how steady he maintains his head through impact. http://youtube.com/?v=4TbFragrJDo
