  1. another thing that really anoys me when i play tiger woods golf 08 (ps3) is that when i watch the players swing from the side its like they are hitting the ball very fat. Anyone else noticed that? Sorry for my poor english hope you can understand :P
  2. i have the CG golds, very forgiving and long. It is true that the short irons look a bit clumsy but its really nothing i had noticed until i read about it here. It is very good irons, i bought them when i was in the 20´ies handicap too. Imo they are worth buying. They are also on the Golf Digest Hot list (hope im alowed to "advertise" for that) So you could check out the reviews there
  3. I have 2 Titleist Spin Milled wedges and i gotta say, when they are new they spin like crazy and they destroy my prov1s really fast. I have not tried the other wedges although i know the cleveland cg12 also spin alot, i got a cleveland cg12 gap 52* and sometimes i actually struggle the spin when the pin is at the back of the green. When i buy new wedges i definatly go Titleist vokey all the way, they just work the magic for me. greetings
  4. I have a 68 degree wedge. My homecourse is pretty short so i take out the driver and use my 3 wood instead. So i got room for my 68.. although i rarely use it.. I only use it for flop shots.. its fun to play with at the start.. but really not a wedge i can recommend for serious play ;)
  5. I have a 56* oil can, 60 degree lob and 68 degree lob which i bought when i started playing golf, almost never use it anymore. I also had alot of thought before i bought my 56* wether it should be 56 or 54. And i also feel the huge difference between a wedge from the set and a real wedge.
  6. allright.. thank you ;)
  7. i am also looking to buy a swing aid for the winter. I am a 20 handicap and i dont have the same swing plane with my short irons and wedges, driver and long irons. I hit alot steeper with wedges and short irons than with long irons and woods. I dont think i can afford the leadbetter swing aid. Do you have any other suggestions on how to improve swing plane with all clubs. Maybe someone can explain how a heavy club or a bag of sand strapped to the club will help me improve swing plane.
  8. dudes i did not say it is the right answer.. just what solved it to me..You just stick to your own suggestion and dont comment my post when it atleast is constructive
  9. maybe you are swinging too steep. when you swing steep the club has a tendency to open. I had the same problem and i solved it by swinging flatter. its a suggestion
  10. well i was only saying what worked for me dude.. my grip has always been the same and since i did that i almost always hit my irons straight... so you cant say that what i said is wrong.. its all about personal experience
  11. ohh im sorry.. i meant steep with short irons and "sweep"´with long irons and driver.. :P
  12. I had the same problem when i started (dont look at my handicap it is not correct). I solved it by swinging steep with the short irons and doing more of a sweeping swing with the long irons. The shaft is longer so if you go steep it will slice. Try swinging steeper with driver and long irons... worked for me
  13. i think mp-r is the newest..
  14. voted making putts.. because if i dont hit the green i will hit close to.. and my short game is much better than my putting so thats where i want to improve
  15. its great.. thank you mate :)
