  1. another thing that really anoys me when i play tiger woods golf 08 (ps3) is that when i watch the players swing from the side its like they are hitting the ball very fat. Anyone else noticed that? Sorry for my poor english hope you can understand :P
  2. i have the CG golds, very forgiving and long. It is true that the short irons look a bit clumsy but its really nothing i had noticed until i read about it here. It is very good irons, i bought them when i was in the 20´ies handicap too. Imo they are worth buying. They are also on the Golf Digest Hot list (hope im alowed to "advertise" for that) So you could check out the reviews there
  3. I have 2 Titleist Spin Milled wedges and i gotta say, when they are new they spin like crazy and they destroy my prov1s really fast. I have not tried the other wedges although i know the cleveland cg12 also spin alot, i got a cleveland cg12 gap 52* and sometimes i actually struggle the spin when the pin is at the back of the green. When i buy new wedges i definatly go Titleist vokey all the way, they just work the magic for me. greetings
  4. I have a 68 degree wedge. My homecourse is pretty short so i take out the driver and use my 3 wood instead. So i got room for my 68.. although i rarely use it.. I only use it for flop shots.. its fun to play with at the start.. but really not a wedge i can recommend for serious play ;)
  5. I have a 56* oil can, 60 degree lob and 68 degree lob which i bought when i started playing golf, almost never use it anymore. I also had alot of thought before i bought my 56* wether it should be 56 or 54. And i also feel the huge difference between a wedge from the set and a real wedge.
  6. allright.. thank you ;)
  7. i am also looking to buy a swing aid for the winter. I am a 20 handicap and i dont have the same swing plane with my short irons and wedges, driver and long irons. I hit alot steeper with wedges and short irons than with long irons and woods. I dont think i can afford the leadbetter swing aid. Do you have any other suggestions on how to improve swing plane with all clubs. Maybe someone can explain how a heavy club or a bag of sand strapped to the club will help me improve swing plane.
  8. dudes i did not say it is the right answer.. just what solved it to me..You just stick to your own suggestion and dont comment my post when it atleast is constructive
  9. maybe you are swinging too steep. when you swing steep the club has a tendency to open. I had the same problem and i solved it by swinging flatter. its a suggestion
  10. well i was only saying what worked for me dude.. my grip has always been the same and since i did that i almost always hit my irons straight... so you cant say that what i said is wrong.. its all about personal experience
  11. ohh im sorry.. i meant steep with short irons and "sweep"´with long irons and driver.. :P
  12. I had the same problem when i started (dont look at my handicap it is not correct). I solved it by swinging steep with the short irons and doing more of a sweeping swing with the long irons. The shaft is longer so if you go steep it will slice. Try swinging steeper with driver and long irons... worked for me
  13. i think mp-r is the newest..
  14. voted making putts.. because if i dont hit the green i will hit close to.. and my short game is much better than my putting so thats where i want to improve
  15. its great.. thank you mate :)
  16. allright great.. thank you.. i dont mind when it is done ;)
  17. i wonder too crate.. how is the net working out for you? ;)
  18. i use those practice balls you know.. they suck compared to practicing with a real ball.. but my dad forbids me to use a net.. what if i hit the greenhouse :P or anything else..
  19. thanks mate.. the wear is only a good thing ;)
  20. ok.. well dont look at my handicap.. cause i play alot better than it.. i have played 4 rounds of golf on 18 holes and i have decreased in handicap all times.. i have the game to spin the ball just not the equipment do to it everytime and prober.. but tyiacas.. i will definently consider buying the raw haze.. so its either mizuno raw haze/black ox or titleist vokey spin milled.. the only backside of the vokey is that i cant get it as a gap wedge.. atleast not in my •••••••••s
  21. sorry.. ok.. hmm well i like the part about softer feel but not if that feature disappears after some time and not if the ability to spin the ball much also disappears after some time.. you know?
  22. my best game is the short game.. i am completely familiar with the principals and techniques on how to make backspin. I made backspin on the last few round i played with my lob wedge until it broke. So i just want to be able to do that again everytime i have a chance at it, with a wedge that is able to do it right and a wedge that will not break or get shattered at the soal or heel or whatever its called ;) but thanks again i have decided to wait till my local golf shop opens again and then i will fell the titleist vokey and the mizuno and maybe even the nike tiger woods wedge so i can decide what feels best. And i can probably also meassure my spin speed on those new machines thans all for the answers
  23. im not a long hitter.. well i can see your point.. but im trying to learn how to get alot of spin into the ball. So i really just need a comparison between the mizuno and other wedges. My local ••••••••• reopens with trackman and golfrange and such in 2 weeks so thats a long time to wait to make a judgement on what wedge is best on spin And the problem with hitting the pitching wedge with spin from 100 yards for me, is that my pitching wedge is not really good quality, my irons are pretty old and i cant afford buying all the wedges in high quality, thats why im thinking about buying a gap wedge. and still thanks for the answers i will look at that titleist and taylormade
  24. thanks for the answers.. i will take a look at the mp-r too. So basiclly it is pretty stupid to pay more money for the raw haze when rust is not a positive thing. So i should take a look at that mp-r. Can you recommend other good wedges. I have seen alot of people in here use a vokey or something. One of the good things i like about the mizuno wedges are the weight of them. They are very light. How are the other wedges compared to the mizunos. And once again.. thanks for the answers
  25. Hi I am thinking about buying the mizuno raw haze, but it is alot of money to me and i got some questions before i want to buy it. I hope someone has some experience with it, that wants to help me :) My questions are: - Is the rusting part making it less durable or more vulnerable - Is the rusting part making more spin - Will the rust affect the other irons when in the bag, like transfering rust to the other irons - when i want to use the wedge on my short game only, like pitch, chips and flag hunting from like 100 yards or 80-100 meters, how much loft and bounce should i get for most spin. I usually play a sandwedge or pitching wedge from 100 yards and a bit more. I hope you can understand me, i am not good at the english language ;) greetings - The Danish Guy :P
