Thanks for the imput guys. I think I am just going to get one all I need are the basics, the more I think about it if I have to much information it will just make me think to much and who needs that.

Does anyone have one? If so, should I buy one or just spend the extra money and get a sky caddie?

First time and last time I play with my Father-in-law and his Friend. I've been married almost 5 years and could get out of it this time. But never again. hopefully?

How long do you look in the woods for a golf ball? I played with two guys on new years day, we started at 1:30pm it gets dark at 5pm, we only completed 14 holes.............why? at least 10mins every time they hit a ball in the woods out of bounds....I was ready to go insane by the time it got dark on the 14th hole. Then they gave me a hard time because I lost 3 balls. I could have lost 20 and not cared if they would have just hurried up and let me finish 18 holes. I spend a couple of mins max.....then drop another one and hit again its just a ball after all.

I am playing in a tourney on Monday with three co workers at the course below: http://www.brightscreek.com/ The format is 6 holes of best ball, 6 holes alternate shot from best drive, and 6 holes of captins choice. Here's the problem I'm the "A" man at a 15 handicap, the other three have handicaps of 25, 28, and 30+. How would you handle these formats with the team above?

I am heading there this week also. How are Man of War, The Witch and The Wizard. The couple me and the wife are going with are making all the plans and he is making plans for us to play these threee courses. Has anyone played them?

I guess I'm just a HACKER then....................oh well.............. I hit every driver from Tour edge to Callaway, you name it and I hit it in the past month. The Tour Burner out preformed all of them for my standards and thats all that matters to me.............

I just got the new Tour Burner and Iwill say after hitting just about every new driver on the market in the last month. It is by far the best one out there right now in my opinion.

Putting by far the most frustrating..........I can deal with a bad drive but not missing a 3 footer..........that drives me mad.

Played in a tournament with this format? 4 man teams 1-6 holes Alternate shot, Everyone hits a tee shot. if you use the A players drive he would hit the 5th stroke if needed. 7- 12 holes best ball chose one drive then everyone plays it in. 13-18 holes captains choice. This is the first time I had ever seen this done or played in something like this. We came in with a 73 because we were 5 over on the alternate shot, our D player was a 35 handicap. He hurt us bad in that format. If I would have known this was how the tourney was going to be run I would have found a true A player instead of me. But it was fun and for a good cause. Habitat for Humanity. If you ever get the chance to play in one of there tourney's play in it. It was my second time and they are always well run and they give away great prizes.

I can't sink a putt inside 5 ft lately and its driving me crazy. Anyone have any ideas on how to help with this problem? The mental side of it?
