  2. Actually.... Seemore promote a swing with a small arc... in to out to in... They do not mention a straight back and striaght through technique.... Time to change the old myths and formula!! I recently purchased a Seemore PCB Limited edition Black putter and I cannot sing it's praises enough! It is without a doubt the best golfing money I have spent for a long time... and I spend a lot of golfing money.... The riflescope technology pretty much guarantees you are going to get the face back square at impact... it is so well balanced, but like the poster above, I assume face balanced putters were for straight back and straight through strokes... I was wrong! I barely grip the putter at address and during the swing... it is so well balanced that I don't need to... It just naturally comes back square every time... and I mean every time!! I've had it for 3 weeks now and I haven't missed a put under 6 foot with it yet!! Also, to top it off... where I was holing say, 1 20 footer per round.. I now regularly hole 4-5 20 footers per round.... it has changed my game and knocked 4-5 shots off each round... The confidence I have when I line up to a putt now is priceless!! They fly into the middle back of the hole... Just go out and buy one... it will be the best putting improvement move you ever make! Also, customer services is excellent.... last time I emailed them it was the managing director/owner that answered all my questions... Peter.

  4. Hello Sir... and thanks for the comments.. very constructive. I will redo my DTL video along the guildines you suggest..... I'll post as soon as I can get to the range again! With regards to your other comments.... I must admit, I have been actively trying to get more "behind" the ball at impact.... I suppose this is where the shifting of weight comes from. One thing I have been trying to do is start with a good spine angle with my driver.... I was taught that you need an angle tilting away from the ball at address and to maintain this angle throught the swing.... something which I do not naturally do... so I move to the right in my driver swing to compensate for this.... I find it gets me in the right position at impact... am I wrong in this assumption? I don't tend to get many thin shots I must admit... I get a lot of shots where the ball comes off the top of the face and balloons up... making me think that I'm moving the low point of my swing forward.... To be honest, I'm a little bit lost with my driver at the moment... I've read/seen so many different conflicting opinions that I have so many swing thoughts it frustrates me! Slowbo.
  5. Thanks for the comments sir.. much appreciated. I've been contemplating putting a "loop" into to my swing for a while... but I worry that it will detract from the accuracy of my downswing and make me compensate more than I already do to get back to the ball. I've been concentrating on dropping my right elbow on to my right hip and squeezing the elbowes together in transition.... seems to be helping a little bit.... I know what I need to do to be honest.. I need to fire my hips a little earlier and hold the lag in the my wrists for longer.. this tends to pull the club down into the "slot" and on the correct in to out line... Working at this down the range at the moment. wish me luck! Slowbo
  6. PS... tried to embed videos but kept getting a blank box with "unknown object" stated in the box..... annoying! Slowbo
  7. Afternoon All.... recently started posting in the forums and was looking for some feedback on my swing.. I am a keen golfer, playing 4-5 times per week.... More than willing to do my bit and will try to post in as many threads as I can.... thanks in advance for any comments.... all comments appreciated... My current handicap index or average score is: 12.6 My typical ball flight is: fade The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: "Over the top" move... Videos:
  8. I use Swing by Swing religiously.... a great app and a real bargain..... all courses mapped for free, and you can even get them to map it for you if it's not in the database! (rarely isn't though.... I've only come across 1 course that isn't mapped in the 2 years I've been using it)... The "Club tracker" part of the App is the part you will find most usefull though.... you hit "start shot" before you hit the ball.. then as you are walking to the next location enter data such as club used and shot shape, then when you reach the finish location of the ball you hit "end shot" and the magic is done for you.... After the round you can check all shot distances with each club, the program also collates all your shot data and gives you an average "how far you can expect to hit" each club data output taking the average of all "full" shots with a particular club.... you can also see this data for that particular round while playing the round.... very usefull in case you happen to be hitting it hot that day... VERY usefull to find out exactly how far you expect to hit a club... I really have my wedges dialed in now and am pin high 90% of the time.... wonderful piece of software... for a wonderful price. 9. I was playing at a local par 3 course with friends a few years back and shanked a 7 iron off the tee, only to see it curve right, bounce once and hit an old lady square in the right temple.... needless to say she was in a bit of pain... but no serious injuries I am happy to report... scared me a bit though! 10. I was recently playing the ninth hole at Bicester golf course and watched in disbelief as a player in front of me putted out on the green and then proceeded to walk over the green and off the other side while pulling his trolleyed bag behind him.... he almost hit the flag! I proceeded to chase him all the way to the tenth tee to explain that this action was not acceptable..... he removed his earphones and looked at me with confusion... I politely eplained that this was not the done thing, to which he replied... "Oh, sorry, I was miles away"!! honestly.. some people.... Peter.
