  1. Just picked this up today. I walked into the my local pro shop believing I'd buy a R11 T3 14* fairway. After hitting the R11 I asked if I could hit other 3Ws. Tested this Nike VR pro, Ping G20, Titleist 910F, and Rocketballz. After cycling through all the clubs it really came down to the Nike VR pro & R11. The Rocketballz was easily my least liked club out of the group. Anyhow, this new 3 wood replaces my Titleist 980F 13* that was given to me awhile ago. Thought I'd share a pic!
  2. This same question may have been asked earlier in this thread (apologies for duplication), but could anyone recommend a good, outdoor net on the market? After reading Erik's initial post I feel the net offers a great solution to focusing on the swing and not the ball flight. I need to find consistency with a ball in front of me. I'm willing to work the net vs. range strategy...focus on my swing & not the ball path. Thanks in advance for any net recommendations!
  3. I'm in the exact same category as Beachcomber...have 3H & 5H to achieve the same distances & results. They are my favorite clubs in the bag. Now, I will say not all hybrids are the same. I had an '08 Callaway FT hybrid that I gave away b/c I couldn't hit it worth a damn. I have TM Burner 2.0 hybrids & they are the easiest, most consistent clubs ever in my hands. There is a reason Tour pros carry hybrids in their bags...
  4. I also have Burner 2.0 irons 4-GW. I love the GW...automatic from 95-100yds for me. In addition I have a 54* & 58*.
  5. I have two Taylormade Burner 2.0 hybrids. The 18* 3H & 24* 5H. Great ball flight, distance & forgiveness. If I'm 180-220 yards out...all business! I don't carry a 3W, 3i or 4i in the bag.
  6. Going out for the first round tomorrow (2/1). Playing Queenstown, MD. Temps should be mid-60's...can't wait!
