  1. This is an excellent feedback! Thanks
  2. 3 hybrid is so useful to get balls in the air easily from any lie and long distance without fear. Accuracy is not terrible.
  3. PW-45, 52, 56, 60 work pretty good for me. My average is 45(120yd), 52 (90yd), 56(70yd), 60(50yd). If you have >30 yard gap, you will need partial swing or consider to have additoinal wedge. Bounce is depending on condition of surface, mostly dictated by where you are. I remember that Titleist web has good information to consider on their wedge section.
  4. I would go for X22. Draw version seems keeping you from improvement of shot making. Just my 2 cents.
  5. My 19* and 22* work great and I do not carry 3 iron and even 4 iron, working good for me.
  6. Two sets Callaway X20 Tour Project X 5.5 Callaway X20 graphite
  7. I would keep it. It's free and you may like it better. I love mine.
  8. That's what I'm leaning toward. It's easy to blame club when get frustrated.
  9. That's the reason why I don't want to buy from e-bay.
  10. I guess they are selling X22 with pre-set lie as indicated on their website: "Callaway uses colors to depict lie angles. Black is standard, Green is 1 up, White is 2 up, and Blue is 3 up. Gold is 1 flat, Red is 2 flat, and Yellow is 3 flat"
  11. If offset can tell anything, MP60: 3i-0.142, pw-0.114; MP57: 3i-0.161, pw-0.114; MP52: 3i-0.142, pw-0.114 (cavity back?), Can I say this indicate the forgiveness in an order of MP52, MP57, MP60? My current club Callaway X20 tour's offset is 3i-0.125, pw-0.008 (lower than MP60) I do have very limited access to demo, so your input is great. Thanks you all for very informative discussion here.
  12. Any influence with different shaft types?
  13. "the hosel on the X22 Tour can't be adjusted for lie".....good point to know. "Accuracy is far more important though"....I totally agree. Mine was custom fit....two different teaching pros came up with same spec....amazing! So I hope to regain distance while remaining accuracy as my swing speed improves. Good for you to have such a great deal for your x20 tour.
  14. I think MP60, MP57, and MP52 are all related. Anyone guide me which one to get if pricing for MP57 and MP52 are about same and MP60 is about 60% of other two? They are all used one. Thanks for your response.
  15. Anyone has comprehensive handicap chart for different MP lines including old and new models?
  16. Can anyone kindly explain what's new (improvement or not) with X22 tour compared to X20 tour? Any reason to switch over from X20 tour to X22? My problem since I have X20 is less distance (drop to 160 yd with 6 iron from 170+), meaning requires one stronger club. I’m considering Mizuno with all great reviews….maybe MP52, or old model MP57? Since I'm not quite familiar with Mizuno models, any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
  17. I am getting Ping eye 2 with original shaft from neighbor and considering to re-shaft them. Where to go for re-shafting job. I am in Santa Fe, NM. Any recommendation for shaft? I’d like to have stiff steel, such as Royal Precision flighted rifle 6 or True Temper Dynamic Gold S300? Any suggestion to consider is v. much appreciated.
  18. Are low irons (8, 9, pw?) in uniflex, graphite, or custom shaft? I think this is interesting....do you probably suggest to replace low irons with, say X-20 tours in steel shaft probably?
  19. This is so funy....in your signature: The reason the pro tells you to keep your head down is so you can't see him laughing
  20. Hmm...there are threads on X-20's already, but any additional thoughts would be appreciated!
  21. What's your experience with X-20 to help out one of my golf buddy (25-30 handicap). Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am currently using X-20 tour and I like a lot. X-20 seems similar characteristics other than more forgiving with more offset, and thought it would be very good game improvement irons. To be custom fitted, but any 2 cent for shaft (steel, graphite, stiffness) would be appreciated too, although this is not a straight forward answer. Thanks!
  22. Thanks for information, Shortgame85! I've been reluctantly replacing my long irons with hybrid, so I think I understand what you're saying about someone may turn up their noses at this. Since I can so much trust my hybrid (19* and 22*) when I needed a distance and control the most, I will be glad to replace 5 iron with hybrid as well. I tested Cobra last weekend and liked it. There were even 29*, ridiculously easy to hit and much longer than my 6 iron. In the recent issue of Golf magazine in my bag section, pro golfers are replacing their 3 and 4 irons and recommend average golfers to consider replacing 3, 4, and 5. I don't feel bad about going this direction either.
  23. Question to shorgame85: do you like your Corbra Baffler? How do you compare to other brand hybrid? Thanks!
  24. I love my X-tour and X-forged chrome. Not tried vitage, but I imagine I can expect same quality, feel, and distance.
